Love is not an idea, concept or something to be attained or lost. Love is a state of existence to which we constantly build obstacles throughout all of our lives. Look at the babies or animals, that is pure love. Anything else is just an illusion created by the mind. Love is everywhere, we are just ignorant as fish is to water. Look deep, either through reasoning like JK or meditating, in the absolute unity you get absorbed in the reality of love. Experiencing love as such is the sole purpose of human existence. ❤
Life is God, truth, death, joy, AND love. They are all one and the very same thing. And, were we human beings to ba able to see behind our differentiating/dividing minds. We would all know that.

"Life is empty without love" - is an idea. Not a fact. Life can not be empty by dropping a single aspect of human life. Life in anyway is empty as long as "the me" is prevailing within. If you need to love or to be loved, one need to negate the me. Is it a fact or an idea - we do not know, since we all are circling around the very old human "me".
As long as you say "need", it's time elements.
The me is prevailing within then their is no emptiness self free from me then there is emptiness
You didnt quite understand what he means with "love", i think.
Whenever he talks about love, he means complete compassion, a oneness without any division, so basically you could say more or less life in its purest form. Most people havent "achieved" it yet(you cannot really say achieved but i will use that word now) but it is infact the essence of life, so without it life is (compared to when you found that love) quite empty.
Of course complete love cant be found inside you, while the ego is still so prevelant; so you could say that its the state you are in when everything is complete within yourself.
It actually is a fact; cuz the other aspects of humanity wouldnt exist without love first
You can't conceptualize love cause then ots not love you see..the closest to love and I'm using words here for the sake of understanding is stillness
Then what is love?
So, are all those negative emotions love?
I usually some difficulty with the arcane language of Krishnamurti but not in this case.
