Guitarists that night were Leda Cygnus and Takayoshi Ohmura.
Kami Band guitarist Mikio Fujioka is the one who passed away January 8th, 2018.
Hideki Aoyama was on drums and BOH on bass.
This was from Black Night, the second night at Budokan on March 2nd, 2014.
Su was 16.
Every once in a while I watch this video of Mikio Fujioka testing a Marshal amplifier.

I just went to a concert with Babymetal on Wednesday here in Copenhagen Denmark. It was amazing. It was not a giant venue, so I got really close to them I could almost touch them! I also used a lot of money on merchandise. 😂 I freaking love Babymetal! And I just learned about them right after new year's.
Nice to see you new Babymetal reaction! _Akatsuki_ was my first lasting number one among their songs. Now I feel like _Ijime, Dame, Zettai_ holds this position :)
You're right, they played at Budokan twice but those were two consecutive nights in 2014 -- March 1st (Red Night) and 2nd (this Black Night). In 2016 they also used the circle stage for their Tokyo Dome shows and those were performed in front of a crowd several times bigger (55,000 fans at each of the two nights, Red and Black again).
Both songs are amazing choices. The Tokyo Dome circle stage was actually meant as inspired by/a tribute to the Budokan stage.

As the honorable Rick Wagner pointed out, those guitarists were Leda Cygnus and Takayoshi Ohmura. Ohmura was not only a former student of the late Mikio Fujioka, but also very close friends. To this day, Ohmura will play Mikio’s favorite red guitar at some point during a show!😭💪🏻🤘🏻

Yes, this one was the "correct" version. I really love this song and it ranks on my top favorites list along with "Megitsune".

You have to see the unfinished version of this! This is my favorite song! Not just of theirs, but period! The unfinished version is a stripped down ballad version of this and will leave you in tears! Especially if you know the lyrics! You can find translated lyrics on their website. Please react to it if you can.

Please girl, you've got to let go of this age thing. You have the energy of a teenager! And that whats counts, Imho. A long time ago I met a man in a pub, he was talking about World War 1. I looked at him and it didn't add up at all. I asked his age and he was 92! Didn't look a day older than 60. He said his secret was, always be young and feel young, no matter what. It's from 2014, Su-metal was 16 (!) years old.
The U in Akatsuki is silent, so it's actually pronounce: Akatski. Su-metal yells at 2:12 Akats[u]ki Da !
The title Akatsuki probably was meant as: red moon. Which is probably a reference to Kurenai (Crimson Moon) by X-Japan.

One if not the very best version of this song, from 5:50 till the end, you can hear how she's pushing her voice to her limits and beyond... I expected some of the lights to blow into pieces!

Hi BJ! Good reaction! I am always conflicted when I hear this version of "Akatsuki". It's such a sad song, but the music is so energetic and heavy, I am torn. Your pronunciation is almost perfect, but Japanese has a tendency to not pronounce U's, so it's more like "a-cat-ski". The title is "Crimson Moon" and it's about teenage love lost. I'd say that it's still lyrically a ballad, but certainly not slow.
Well, I don't think there were any doubts that you were part of The One before you even went to the concert, but there's certainly no denying it when you're willing to risk life and limb (or at least a toe) for them. It's still preferable to not break anything, so be careful. :D

I couldn‘t help but smile at the beginning when you said „So it‘s another slow one“. Not quite correct. :-) It‘s a really great song. All of Su‘s solos are great, she always rules the stage and her vocals really shine.
I‘d say I‘m probably around your age (maybe a tad older), but I can definitely say that at no age I have ever had their amount of energy.
