Many years ago I heard this being played by a band in a park in Odessa. It felt completely weird.

Love how their ads parody Jean de Florette

I just watched Jean de Florette and then tried to find this advert 'cos I know it was the same music.

It's from "La Forza del Destino" by Verdi. Couldn't say which bit though.

I am an African American, who drinks Stella Artois. The few places that I go to know what I drink, I don't have to ask for a Stella Artois, I am served Stella Artois.
Whenever I see a Stella Artois commercial, I do not more than one African American in their commercial, in the background, never prominent in their commercials. I wonder if Stella Artois is insinuating their beer is preferred only for Anglo Saxon's? Or, for any other race than African Americans? I really would be interested to know. I have no problem changing my beer, but it would be a shame.
So Stella Artois, if you'd like to make an African American Stella Artois commercial, look me up, I know your sales would rise even more in the African American community. #NOLA loves Stella!

"Reassuringly expensive"? Did they try to sell it as a quality beer in the rest of the world? It's one of the cheapest and blandest beers...

It was the times, if Stella would shoot a commercial in 2020, you would have a black asian as the main character, it boiles down to the times we live in, but the beer is still ok
