It seems, law does not risk to allow any defence evidence to open up at prima facie stage since this would eventually show consequential ways of number of revision petitions or even SLP in case of rejection of the same by trial court.
But all the presumptions are reputable.

There is no correlation. Generally 227 is filed after bail.
