On July 31st 2020, we chase the Nittany and Bald Eagle from the NS interchange in Tyrone, along former Conrail (originally PRR) trackage, to Bellefonte Yard.
So many PRR relics along the shortline. Most notable of all is the position signal bridge at Milesburg and one of their units #1804 was originally built as GP9 for PRR numbered 7118.
Nice video! I was actually chasing this yesterday. The line is about 15 minutes from Penn State's campus so I wake myself up early about once a week to get some photos.
@@jefftherailroadenthusiast8889 It’s tough to say as there’s no schedule. Usually the trains get moving around 7 in the morning at the Bellefonte Yard.
@@jefftherailroadenthusiast8889 The N&BE is fairly active at the Bellefonte yard in the mid-late afternoon (figure 3-6 pm) most days of the week. I don't live in Bellefonte, but I'm usually paddling on the section of Spring Creek next to the yard most afternoons. The locomotive shops are just a short trip upstream along Buffalo Run in Coleville. With the way the tracks are laid out, the N&BE locomotives must go to the Bellefonte yard first before going anywhere else.

I'd love to know what times this runs
