Spanish football isn't just real or barcelona. There's atletico, there was the super deportivo and valencia of the late 90s, early 2000s. They had world class teams.

To truly understand Spanish football you may have to move beyond FC Barcelona and Real Madrid, yes certainly they were the most influential but there are other things that defines the league to what it is. In the same way we associate the best defenders to Italy and the best skilled players to Brazil, the way football is viewed in a specific country breathes the next generation of players in a specific mold. 1. If you notice Spanish Football produces the most talented midfielders, this may be because of the style of play the league is acclimatized to. Look at the leagues statistics and you will understand that majority of La Liga clubs focus a lot on possession football and knows how to play from the back and through the middle. 2. There is a really good youth system among clubs. Season after season clubs such as R. Madrid, FC Barcelona, R. Betis, R. Sociedad, A. Madrid, Sevilla, Las Palmas and others churn out a lot of talented youth players that are really good on the ball. 3. The link between club and international level. There are also stricter rules to have more home grown players, clubs with a B-TEAM are allowed to participate in 2nd & 3rd Divisions however are not allowed to be promoted beyond 2nd. This promotes more young Spanish players to continue to play in Spain hence by the time they move to the 1st division or get call up to the Spanish National team it is quite an easy transition. This is why I believe its not always a bad thing that the league is not the richest in the world, it forces clubs to look within and promote within. Dutch league has a similar philosophy. There are many other view points if you look at statistics I am sure most La Liga fans can point out a few others as well. It may not be the most exciting league but for me it is the most tactically inclined league. Teams are not trying to over power you or out pace you, it is literally a mind game sometimes and may seem a bit slow. There is a saying, if you are up 2-0 in Spain the game is over (possession football), if you are up 2-0 in England it isn't over until the last minute. (counter attacking football)

@TheGiorgi7 you are absolutely wrong... Sarri,Gasperini, De Zerbi and many others in Serie A are playing attacking football. The Italian play stile changed a lot in the years. Your statement is like saying that the english game is only throw the ball forward and hope that the striker catch it or that Spanish playstile is only tikitaka. How Spanish lions are still loud in Europe.
- 1956-1966: Real Madrid started the first European Cup dynasty to built under Alfredo di Stéfano.
- 1992: Barcelona ended the Castilian domination in Europe to lead the Catalans for inking the entire continent for very first time.
- 1998-2002: Real Madrid rebuilt the European Cup dynasty with the new death star in the European game for returning of the Castilian domination in Europe.
- 2006: Barcelona marched to Paris with the Catalan flag to ink Europe to beat Arsenal for the second European crown under the Frank Rijkaard era
- 2009: Pep Guardiola ushered the new era of Barcelona after their first treble in the Spanish soccer history to seek the biggest sunrise in the European summit in Rome to wear his first European crown.
- 2011: Barcelona lit blue-red on the Wembley arch after beating Manchester United to take back the European throne.
- 2014-2018: Real Madrid ushered the new era of the Castilian dynasty in Europe after 12 years of drought led by Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale with Sergio Ramos as the current chief admiral of the team and two commanders-in-chief, Carlo Ancelotti and the current one, Zinedine Zidane.
- 2015: Barcelona returned to the European throne in Berlin to ink Europe blue and red by clinching the second treble led by the current chief admiral of the club, Lionel Messi and the former commander-in-chief, Luis Enrique.
- 2022: At long last, Real Madrid had 14. They finally returned to the European throne for the first time in 5 years by beating seventh heaven-chasing Liverpool with a 1-0 score after Vini Jr put the dagger for la Decimocuarta in the 58th minute in Paris despite the wreaking havoc due to the kickoff delays.

that flag was the spanish flag during the second republic in the 30´s rigth before our civil war, it is highly umprobable that they use it again as we are a democracy but we have a king, as long as the monarchy is still there there wont be changes in the flag, also theres a lot of people that support the republican flag but the same amount hates it because of the civil war

Norway does not have an exact football philosophy but they often produce the best talents which is suitable to any football philosophies implemented in major european football league thanks to their football academy

The only thing that differentiate Barcelona and Madrid is that Madrid always tries build their team around best players and gives them Freedom to express and play football but in Barcelona they create big players , sign good players but the President of the club thinks that the Club is due to them and not on players but the club is 80% depended on their players and 20% rest and they exploit it and nevertheless it ruins the moral of whole team.. 😔

They bought players like di stefano (a nationalised player but actually Argentine), puskas, cr7, modric, figo, zidane for success and none of them are Spanish. If they showed about iker, ramos, alonso, hierro, raul that could've been okay. Bilbao, valencia should've been shown instead of Madrid.
