These two were just fantastic together. I can't thank you enough for freeing their sound up for us to hear so clearly. The bass is so animated. I can't decide if the drums sound more like a frantic heartbeat facing the terrifying gallows...or a more thrusting lusty beat. Zep always sound just a little bit salacious even when they weren't trying to 😈 ᴼᶠᶠ ᵗᵒᵖᶦᶜ, ᴵ ᵃᵇˢᵒˡᵘᵗᵉˡʸ ᵃᵈᵒʳᵉ ᴮᵒⁿᶻᵒ ᵇᵘᵗ ʰᵉ'ˢ ᵍᶦᵛᶦⁿᵍ ᵒᶠᶠ ᴿᵒⁿ ᴶᵉʳᵉᵐʸ ᵛᶦᵇᵉˢ ᶦⁿ ᵗʰᵃᵗ ᵖʰᵒᵗᵒᵎ
Can't thank you enuff for these wonderful Gems! Wish we could've had these available decades ago! Shame on Pagey for not doing this... that said I'm sure he wanted to preserve John's mystic & not have us hear everything he did in detail like this! Cheers & Beers Mates! 🍻 Cheers!
You should look for vinyl rips of the original album releases. After having listened to digital releases of zep for 30+ years, it's really like pulling a blanket off of one's speakers.
@@woolenwigwam absolutely not, vinyl pressings are lossy by nature. Digital remasters are far closer to the original sound of the tapes than vinyls, even the analog pressings back in the day.
@@danielovermyer9122that album is horribly produced the original bootleg of that gig sounds way better and plant actually sounds good. They mixed it so he just sounds way too shrieky.

Thank you so much for this
Nice one! God I love these
Nice! I'm convinced that R. Plant vocals totally obscure magnificent compositions.
I feel the same. When I listened to How The West Was Won, I thought that Bonham is ridiculously good, and Plant is just ridiculous.

Dazed and confused please 🙏
