Family members would gather after morning church services, usually at the home of the family matriarch, and eat and relax, tell stories and enjoy time together. So when he says "it smelled like Sunday dinner" that means it smelled good, people were getting hungry, maybe looking forward to getting off work.
For 3 minutes plus, that man owned that studio. Steve has a great stage presence, but Steven had Steve and the entire audience in the palm of his hand. Like Steve told him….that’s the gift. That’s something you can’t teach.
