  • This smooth Danish style tobacco pipe will be listed for sale on SederCraft.com today. It features some nice grain, a bit of exposed plateau on the rim, an ox horn shank and a stem handmade from German ebonite.

    Kraig, been scouring your videos looking for your technique of adding ox horn, faux ivory, or whatever to the shank as an accent. It's like a subtle addition that really highlights the pipe's overall appeal. Any chance you can include that process in an upcoming video please? Many thanks....

      Hi Lefty. I can definitely make a video showing how I make and mount a shank accent using either ox horn, ebonite or materials. I'll make the video next time I make a pipe like that, which will be soon. Thanks for the comment.

    What type of finish are u using on ur pipes ery dam shiny👍

      Sometimes I use Danish Oil, and sometimes hand mixed shellac. I use a very light shellac 1lb mix.
