800 Meter Time Trial in the New Balance FuelCell 5280

I’ve been doing a lot of MD-focused workouts in preparation for Ultimate Runner at the end of June, and I’ve never done a standalone (as in not part of a greater meet) 800. With the wonderfully rubberized track at Davidson College. Ow closed to the public, all of my track work will be on paved tracks for the foreseeable future. So…it’s a great time to bring out the NB 5280-a niche shoe if ever there was one-specifically designed for high performance in the road mile. Let’s see how these bad boys did with a dust-off.
