Note to self (If I get to go abroad for study):
1-You should be able to cook
2-Don't buy bulls*it stuff
3-Do proper research (based on worst to worst case scenarios)
4-Have some sort of digital skill worth some value.
Must have IT skills (web development or Data Science)

@@malikzeeshan9414i am digital marketer and web developer moving to Germany a good move?
@@jawbrekaa I'm coming in UK in September 24, and I'm learning web development course and hopeful to get job as early as possible. Could you please tell me that IT jobs market is saturated in London?
@malikzeeshan9414 bro, as working in I.T my self. It will be easier if you have like google or any other certifications. You can apply jobs via jobs website.
BTW I am in Australia.
Being in the UK as an overseas Pakistani, I would suggest to all Pakistanis who want to study abroad that it is indeed a very positive step, but be prepared for struggle, sleepless nights, and depressing phases. There will be a phase where you have to attend university Monday to Friday and then work on weekends to manage rent, fees, and studies. The fear of returning to Pakistan will always haunt you until you attain permanent residency. However, on a positive note, this experience will make you a better human and instill the habit of working hard. Additionally, you will also have days where you can explore and travel. So yh overall can make you humble and hardworking.
Same for Students coming to US but I think everyone should go through it
So the learning is, always aspire for top university and do your research properly. He wanted to get out of Pakistan and struggled. I wonder if he would've stayed and studied in Pakistan he might've done well. Khair! All the best for the future may you get a job in your field

❤thx sir❤
I got admitted in Westcliff University for an MBA program in 2021 and came to US. Found a job in finance, built value for the company, they offered to sponsor me for a green card process. Never had to work illegally here, the US has a lot to offer if you have the talent and work ethic. I come from no privilege, paid for my University on my own with the money I made from the job working here. As a student, I paid more in taxes last year than the average American makes in a year. Your life can change in no time, it’s not a matter of luck. Luck is when preparation meets opportunity. Keep grinding
great
Can you explain how you paid for your uni while working there? Legally you can only work 20 hrs per week on campus.
@@AffiDesignsThat is true only if you’re doing a Bachelors program here. The dynamics are a little different when you come here for a Masters program. The 20 hr/week only applies for the first year in a Masters program. During your second year you can work full time and after you graduate assuming you did a STEM major you can work another 3 years full time. So, I did not work my first year here and took the time to do my research and figure out what industry I wanted to pursue a career in, found a job in finance ( sales ) with base salary and uncapped commissions, with no cap on your income, depending on your skill level, sky’s the limit.
What you went through was extremely lucky and at the end of the day privileged. There are tons of people that probably had a very similar life to you but wouldn't get a job and would have to either leave or stay illegally.
those who are saying his dark circles tells the story, i've known him since 2011 when we used to play cricket together and he had dark circles back then aswell
You know Junaid bahi too?
He is right. I was the umpire in those cricket matches
It's quite impressive that Junaid uses his platform and money to help other people such as Sarmed chase opportunities to improve their lives. I hope I too can be in a similar position someday.
InshAllah brother
5:59 Junaid bhai didn't even hesitate ☠️

Sarmed bhai is the G. Despite all the struggles, he came out on top and persevered. Your cousin is truly an inspiration just like you. Thank you for this podcast. It motivated me even more to work harder, smarter, and better. Thank you so much, Junaid Sir.
They were all self inflicted struggles 🤦♂

Birmingham is a hellhole except Solihul and Sutton coldfield and Pakistanis are mostly from villages and small cities. I would suggest you to move either Cambridge city or Oxford city as there are jobs opportunities. I can guide you if you are comfortable.
Hi, thanks for the reply, how can I contact you. Please let me know

My first cousin has same horrible experience in UK . Eventually got deported
Such a brave guy sharing his dark and depressing experiences. Thank you so much. Stay blessed
I would like to say to all the young students who are in their high schools or undergraduate years, please prepare well, study hard while you're in your home country with your family. Then apply for a scholarship to study abroad so you don't have to worry about anything in a new country.
You can study and live a good life with mental peace.
I'm also an international student doing my masters abroad on a fully funded scholarship.
My work here is just to study and nothing else. I have enough savings from my stipend. I eat good n wear good. And only spend my money where it is needed. I didn't buy any iphone not because I couldn't afford it or I didn't want it but because I didn't need it.
But I have many fellow students buying branded items as soon as they get stipend and then at the end of the month they ask other students for loans.
So guys choose wisely. Start preparing today. For your better future and Pakistan's better future.
Best of luck!!
great storytelling skill, even junaid bhai listens tahammul se
You should make a podcast with someone who did plab..

May Allah give him easy and more success. Great podcast. Good job ganjiswag!
No matter which country you migrate to, you will face similar struggles. You have to develop thick skin to build your life in any country. You need to suffer. No pain no gain. I have been through much worse than you have. And every immigrant has been through this pain. You are no exception. Yehi age hai struggle ki. But after you have suffered, things will become easier. And yes after you have ILR i-e PR, things will become easier. Ofcourse having a passport makes a big difference. You won't have to work for £5 an hr.
Put things into perspective. Compare that to Pakistan where even after working hard you don't reap the benefits. Atleast in UK, you get reward of your hard work. You gotta carry on suffering and not give up. Good luck
I want to know IT jobs saturation in UK? Please tell me IT related job opportunities in the UK.
I see 2 videos of him with Junaid Bhai but his dark circles show his struggle may Allah bless him
Sometimes dark circles are due to genes. My brother also has dark circles but lives a very healthy lifestyle.
I agree with this man..
All that glitter is not the gold.
There is a need to accept the pros and cons of every place.
We must respect and accept it.
International students different background se atay hain r different thoughts rkhte hain. Is surat e haal mai best yehi hai aap apna goal set kren r usko achieve krne ki koshish kren.
Khud ko ksi se compare na kren. Hum kbi bhi goron ki country mai 1st citizen consider nhi hotay isliye apni chadar dekh kr paon phelayen.. iphone pe pese lagane se behtar hai k saving kren r studies krne k liye ja rhy hain toh ja kr skills learn kren.
hm jb being pakistani student wahan jate hain r theek se studies nhi krte toh hmara image r bhi khrab hota hai. koi hmpe atbar nhi krta qk unko yehi lagta hai k hm scammer niklenge.
ye sb mai experience ki basis pe bta rhi hu.
cmnt parhne ka shukria.
Love his honestly
This man has been irreversibly damaged by this experience, and yet has the courage to speak up and risk being judged. Hats off to you Sarmed, please stay strong and keep up your new work ethic.
MashAllah he groomed so well, more power to you ❤️
My brother is in aug i can understand his points i lived in uae for 10 years learn struggle and so many things and i m a change person now so these things will teach u so many things make u a better person and positive man
He is a classic example of what you shouldnt do while you are an international student and have limited resources
I mean this is an example that foreign is not bad unless you make it to be.
Hard struggling life of Sarmed Bhai
Awesome video😎😎👍👍
Hats off to Sarmad for openly admitting his mistakes! May Allah ease his ways ameeen
Sarmad is truly a gem! I had the pleasure of meeting him, and he was incredibly helpful and always there for others and genuinely cares.
I worked as a Supply Teacher in various schools as a student, and even now on my PSW visa, I am working in the same role at a school. If anyone intends to work in a school or different schools (both full-time and part-time), there are a number of teaching recruitment agencies across the UK. If you don't want to teach as a Cover Supervisor (Substitute Teacher), you can work either as a Learning Support Assistant or Teaching Assistant.
He's such a brave man ❤

Wow! I missed Sarmad so much, but after watching his famous meme video, I became a fan of your channel and started watching it regularly. Thank God I found the old vibes of your channel that were missing for some time due to societal, economic, or political issues. I appreciate the effort you put into creating quality content and bringing back the old vibes. Keep up the good work, and I look forward to watching your next video with Sarmed!
Junaid bhai Austria (Europe) pe video banaen
I have seen a lot of people even myself as an overseas student but the thing is that this guy was careless and rather than thinking about collecting fees he started living a luxurious life like citizens of the UK.
If you start thinking about your goal from the day first, so it will never bother you at the end.
Also, it shows that he never cared about his salahs, so calamities obviously would hit him.
Inspiring indeed
Despite all the hardships anyone face abroad, they at least have peace of mind that this phase will pass one day. They have access to all the basic necessities a human is entitled to have. They can use mobile on streets without fear of being shot. They have higher chance of justice if god forbid they messed up.
Regarding Junaid's point that People have passports but they didn't if go out of Birmingham, most of the people don't seek passport to travel, it's just an assurity that they or their generations not be kicked out of that country and their future is secured in a humanly society.
This is the torture of the foreign country

West Cliff University, who studies in no-name universities. Never heard of it. Such people never get US visa. I was targeting top 100 US universities and ended up getting into 3 top 50s. There is no point in studying in anything below that rank, you wont get good jobs.
Juniad bhai when I was college student I used to saved a lot of money work as security guard and Alhumdullah I graduated from Berkeley and now got blue collar job. But I learned I am not saving money going to eat out concert comedy show wagera even though I need to save money for masters. Mashaallah this podcast is a good wake up call for us who need to safe money for future. P.S: I don't have IPhone even after working in Apple one year when I came to California.
We should contribute our efforts in fixing our homeland. Otherwise our future and future of coming generation is very grim.
8 months tak dost ny free main rehne diya??
The most important thing before moving to a place is the accomodation.
out of all the people JUNAID AKRAM sy expect nahi kara tha, constantly making fun of the kid, degrading him, bashing him and just trying to put him down, he has a superiority complex. The kid deserves alot more respect, praise and all his struggles will amount to something big for sure.

Bechara ronay wala hua va tha aur ankhon se pata chal raha tha k kab se neend puri nahi hui. I really felt bad that he had to go through so much. Life is not easy abroad. May Allah make it easier for everyone struggling
iphone essential hai
I've always wondered, instead of graduating and immediately heading to these countries for masters, why not spend 2-3 years gaining local exp then head to mainland Europe where there is at least a possibility you can afford the tuition fee for your entire degree from home, and have time to focus on learning the language, concentrate on your studies/internships/finding a job? The job itself can lead to PR. These are the things that upgrade your life in the long run.
Ngl there is a struggle in mainland Europe as well. You will have to do odd jobs there as well but the time spent doing odd jobs there will be potentially 80% less than UK, US, Canada, Australia since your tuition is also less.
Now if for some reason, you don't get into any uni in Europe, then you can go to US, UK, Canada, Australia as a backup.
Of course if you have other responsibilities on you as well such as sending money back home, that changes the situation.
I can totally relate. The passport becomes worthless as you have spent your prime time in the takeaways.
Students in UK know this but only after coming we come to realise all this, it was needed to be said on a mainstream platform like this. Junaid bhai u r literally a blessing fo Pakistan. 😢

It's been more than a year since I arrived in Germany. Thanks to God, I don't have financial problems, but still, I am thinking of moving out of the country. I see so many people here who are depressed and looking for a way out. Perhaps, we should do more podcasts like this, where we can share our experiences of student life abroad.
