I was thinking that as well - like is God trying to remind us that He already has what we need prepared for us. Or is it that sometimes we don't know what to do for the Lord and go back to doing something we forsook when we first started following Him but the Lord shows up to redirect His sheep again and put them on the right course of action again? Then the third time, Jesus asked Simon Peter, “Do you love (phileo) me? And Peter answered, “Lord, You know all things, You know that I love (phileo) You. I suppose Jesus was reinstating Peter after the denials Peter did during Jesus’ arrest and later crucifixion. And He was showing Peter the kind of love He had for Peter against what Peter (and the rest of us) can give. However, with the love that we received from the Lord we can give to others. My granny visited Israel several times before she passed a couple of years back, and I wish that I had had the opportunity to see it with her before it was too late. It makes me smile to think about it now, but we were told at her memorial service that she almost didn't come home the last time she went. I don't think that she ever felt more at peace than when she was there, and I can completely understand why. I may never afford to get there and see Israel with my own two eyes, but you bless me in every video because I know that my granny walked there because HE walked there. You two show me the trails, and ruins from that time and after, as well as ruins that He and his disciples likely passed by. We were so deeply moved to realize we were there, right there where Jesus cooked the fish and asked Peter if he loved Him. The Adversary sought to sift Peter like wheat, but Jesus said '...But I have prayed for you.') Peter denied Jesus three times, yet BEFORE the denials Jesus restored him AND instilled hope for the future beyond the denials! There is also a word shift in the Greek: something like: ' feed my sheep...feed my lambs...feed my sheep -almost as if new believers transitioning to maturity and then another generation? just my thoughts.

Just got back from Israel last night and it was the most magical and memorable experience walking where Jesus did. Our trip started in Galilee at this very spot so seeing you guys sitting on the shore brought back very fond memories from 2 weeks ago. No other place I’ve visited feels like Galilee… tranquil, peaceful and so important in reflecting and keeping the oil lamp filled.

Hi Sergio and Rhoda. I've been there in 2020 before the lock down. the water was all the way to the fence, so we were not able to go to where you are seated. It is amazing to walk where Jesus walked. I love that scripture in John 21. Twice did Jesus asked Peter if he agape him and he always asked phileo. The third time, Jesus went down Peter's level and used phileo. Such gracious Jesus that he did not insist to Peter to have the agape love right away, and leveled with him for a phileo love.

Hi Sergio and Rhoda. I've been there in 2020 before the lock down. the water was all the way to the fence, so we were not able to go to where you are seated. It is amazing to walk where Jesus walked. I love that scripture in John 21. Twice did Jesus asked Peter if he agape him and he always asked phileo. The third time, Jesus went down Peter's level and used phileo. Such gracious Jesus that he did not insist to Peter to have the agape love right away, and leveled with him for a phileo love.

Beautiful ...the Sea of Galilee...as stated in the Bible...as there was a "Leaver/Sea" of fresh water the Priests used (it was recorded as having two names) in the Tabernacle( area).
