Believe it, or not, the wood actually soaks in the water and swells. There’s no need to seal the door if your carpentry is right. In fact, old galleons used to have about a foot of water in the bilge. The weight helps keep the shape upright.

@@akpolo-om5zpwe have free will. Free will to worship the lord Satan if necessary. But, just like every other religion, it's a waste of time. Just be a good person for yourself and for what matters to you, not for a mythical fear of what you don't understand when you die.
Religion makes it sound like you're only behaving to prove yourself, like a kid behaves in the grocery store in order to be able to get the desired object when they leave. It's literally the same concept, except the kid doesn't fear the unknown outcome while the religious person fears what they don't understand-turning to their "faith" to give them the answer because it's comforting and now they don't have to think of the answer themselves or worry if it's the right answer...what a weak person this god of yours made

@@robraaiii you know what I find hilarious?! Jesus allegedly lived in poverty, right? Amongst the poor.. So in that time of the Roman Empire, when people were crucified, the only time anyone was allowed to take a dead body off a cross was if they paid a substantial sum of money so they could bury the deceased. This rarely happened, as most people being crucified were not from wealthy families. Jesus and his disciples were not wealthy, and in reality they would have fled from the situation. Even if they wanted to take him down, they not only wouldn't have had the money, but also Pontius Pilate would have forbade it. The practice was to leave the bodies up to rot and be eaten by wildlife for all to see. So if Jesus was real, and was crucified, the REALITY is that he would've decomposed on the cross and was eaten by vultures and dogs. Let that sink in, champ.

Back in the day it probably wasn't like pangea but i imagine before a 40 day world ending flood it would end up adding lots of ocean to the then slightly connected earth at the time if you ask me. Being that the whole project took 120 years in total it's possible that if God almighty is summoning his creations to a direction with divine power then eventually they would conviene near the center of the earth at the time. It only worked because gods power made it so.

They spend thousands of dollars improving main street hoping tourist visiting the ark would come through town people reopened all the closed shops that liter every Kentucky main street, from better times past when Ky had more industry. Well, I seen last summer a local Kentucky news channel played a bit about the town and the ark and how all those businesses had closed cause the ark was built in an odd location from the center of town and people did not come on into town from what I understood. Was the saddest thing watching those business owners talk about it. In the originals, people fled into caves and took shelter from a great storm and then emerged later.
The flood didn't cover the entire earth as there isn't enough water.. it was the flooding of the younger dryas which caused the oceans to rise by a few hundred feet to their current levels.

The younger dryas flood is a scientifically accepted event that took place 12500-12800 years ago at the ending of the last Ice Age, when something triggered cataclysmic climate shifts (probably a comet impact into the northern ice shelf) which extended near center USA and was a couple miles thick.
How is that dumb? It's most likely a memory of a real event that happened (though not quite as stated obvioisly) as the oceans only rose a couple hundred meters.. enough to permanently drown entire towns that would have existed on the coasts though, and those waters never receded.

You have any evidence to suggest it wasn't? Seems petty low iq to me to think no large flood ever happened when the vast majority of geologists agree a giant flood happened and they don't even read the Bible. Humans build plenty of boats. It's really not that far fetched to believe someone survived a flood in a boat. It literally happens all the time. Every time Florida gets hit with a hurricane matter of fact. Do you believe there is other dimensions? Because plenty of "scientists" do eventhough there is less evidence of that than a flood. Floods happen. They're pretty common if you didn't know. Wouldn't surprise me if some dude had a boat and managed to get on when the water was coming and then his whole village dies except him. Way way way stranger things have happened. We've got flat earth people after all. Eventhough the Bible nor telescopes support the false belief that the earth is flat so I mean anything us possible man. We've put animals on boats to survive Floods before man. It's really not that crazy of an idea. We literally put more animals on bigger boats now just to ferry them around than you would have to do in a flood to save the local wildlife. We also know Floods come long before they hit shore so it's not like these things can't be predicted either. I just got done valuation a cattle ship that carries way way more animals than this flood ark would have and its a much bigger ship too. So to me it seems possible especially when the Bible documents exactly how it was made with every improtant detail that seems to fit perfectly with the technology advancement at the time. It's not like the design is suspiciously ancient or suspiciously too advanced for the time period and they have flood records dating back to like the paleozoic Era bro. So we know a bug flood happened right about the time this story became a tale. It's not like its imposto have some guys build a boat and then when the flood come you load the local animals up so they don't go extinct. Could've came form a petting zoo for all we know bro. You don't know nothing. We're you Alice thousands of years ago to fact check this story or are you just claiming it didn't happen eventhough even the geoglocial evidence suggests there was people surviving big Floods in the same time period. Could've been shifting tectonic plates causing a major flood, it's happened before and we know it has. So I wouldn't be so quit to assume everything is a complete lie because I believe people use boats to survive Floods. I see it happen in Florida every 2 years or so. People Have been loading their animals onto boats whencthe flood water comes in for thousands and thousands of years bro. It seems weird to me how scientists will say there is multiple dimensions eventhough they have no proof buy you tell them someone loaded up some animals on a boat to survive a flood and they're dumbfounded like as if it's some feet of man when it's really just how you survive when the water keeps rising. The only things that don't sink are the boats. Why is it so hard for people to believe people always used boats to save animals in Floods but they'll believe in multiple dimensions without even so much as a second guess?
