Nu metal is the last genre of metal to hit the mainstream scene, after 2004 everything just started to fade away. Since then Nu metal along with all of the other metal genres has been on the back burner, metal didn't die but the attention of the mainstream did. I'm so glad to have lived my teen years while Nu metal was still in its prime.
