Not everyone does lol. I thought the whole reason to have a car was to drive somewhere not play with gadgets. The only reason they need autonomous driving is because of idiots distracted by smart phones.
DEVILTAZ35 CarPlay and Android auto are much better than most built in SatNavs and the voice recognition works better too. As for distraction, (IF YOU WANT), you can send and receive texts, phone calls without ever taking your hands off the steering wheel. I don’t know about Android Auto, but Apple iOS has the ability to disable notifications when the car is moving, automatically sending a message to any incoming call/txt to say the recipient is driving. If you haven’t tried either, you should - not for everyone, but certainly handy and using Google or Apple Maps (and soon Waze) is better than most manufacturers proprietary SatNavs
Lexus infotainment is among the worst in the auto industry (only Honda/Acura ‘dual-screen’ is close.) The controller is awful. The interface hasn’t changed in a significant way in 10 years - embarrassing when you compare to similarly priced BMWs and Audis. It’s worse when you realize Hyundai, Kia and Ford have better UIs than you 😐 I’m of the opinion that it is the absolute worst part of the car. Safety features are great 👍🏼, but besides Adaptive Cruise Control, I don’t have to live with AEB and FCW every day (hopefully ever). I do, however, have to be ashamed of my interface as it is directly in my face. I adore the car otherwise.

You have to buy a aftermarket device from China, about 500 USD and then install it to the head unit. I'm not sure if it worth it.
