I love 💕 to hear chattering . You never ever talk to much. We all love you!!!
I love this scarf, and I think its great that you make them for us. For those that don't like your chatting, they need to go with the written pattern that you so kindly make also. I love your teachings, and your always upbeat and make me smile...so thank you for all you do Colleen your great!!!!
Thanks for your video, for me as a beginner it is very helpful. I found it very well explained and at the right speed that allows me to understand without having to go back in the video. Keep doing what you are doing, haters can always watch something else. TY.
Beautiful scarf. I'm going to try making this one. Don't pay attention to other people. You are good with the rest of us
Elaine, thank you for your kind words ❤ I hope you enjoy the pattern! 😊
I am watching your video at this very minute and whoever it was that was so very rude and said you talk too much, I TOTALLY disagree!! I am basically a beginner and I APPRECIATE ALL THE INFO you are willing to offer me in your videos! I THANK YOU for being “so chatty”!!!! God bless you and the work you do, along with so much help that you take the time to help me understand what you’re doing so much better! Again, THANK YOU for BEING SO CHATTY!!!!! 🙏😊
Speechless❤ so very sweet if you Diana
Yea, thanks for taking time out to teach and share. Much appreciated
This is absolutely beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing! I truly appreciate all your hard work in making these videos for us. It's such a shame that there are people out there who are miserable and complain about everything. Don't worry about them, you keep up your good work!
Cheryl, you are too kind ❤ Thank you so much ❤
Hi Colleen, I do not think you are too chatty. I find your videos and instructions very helpful. I am not a completely a new crocheter, I did a lot of it when I was in my teens and twenty's, I am now 70 and starting back. So I enjoy your instructions. Thank you for doing this.
I can not tell you how much I appreciate the skill and friendship you share. It actually helps me learn. I am a social learner. I learn by watching and listening and “feeling” emotions while I learn. It’s the conversation and low pressure information.you make it interesting by making it something that I become part of, part of the conversation. And it’s really stress free.
And good for you for calling them out! I personally appreciate the way you teach.
Thank you!!!!
Shawna, that is so sweet of you ❤ You totally made my day with your comment... Really appreciate knowing that it is helpful to some people. Thank you so much 😊❤
If you do not like the chit chat then use the mute button, Colleen is doing a great job teaching & I for one have been blessed with her lessons. Thank you Colleen Hays.
Love your chat Colleen. Love your personality. Love your tutorials. Ignore the haters! 😘
Hi Ms. Hays, I’m a newbie and new to your channel. I felt sad to hear you respond to those rude and unappreciative people that leave nasty comments. I’m glad you did speak your mind and this shows how strong you are to facing those trolls that bully people on social media by hiding behind the keyboard. They feel entitled and think you owe them your precious time. No!!, you don’t and if they think they know it all, they should go somewhere else. Please know that there are those of us that greatly appreciate you. I personally appreciate your style of teaching and have been inspired by your style of teaching. Continue to be strong and continue to show those bullies that you are unshakable and unstoppable. Remain blessed and thanks for all your time and all you do. 💕💯🙏🏾
Frances, thank you so much for your kind comment. There are always going to be the bad with the good and I know I'm far from perfect. I just continue on with what I love to do for people like you who have more of an interest in learning something new than trying to ruin someone else's day.
Thankfully I have thick skin and can move past these negative comments mentally.
God bless you and have a wonderful day ❤
I appreciate your tutorials and this scarf is gorgeous! Thank you for all you do! I can't read written patterns and videos make it possible for me to do this craft. Keep being you!

Ms. Colleen Hayes.. I too want to Thank-you for your the videos you have put out there for Me & others to learn from.. I agree with "Cheryl Anne's comment below".. Haters everywhere, and they could control themselves, but they choose not too, because they think it makes them more superior over others to voice their mean opinionated words.. Hate breads Hate, and it's a shame that in 2019 it's so widespread.. When will that end, Never.. Soo, Ms. Colleen, please continue sharing your Beautiful Work, and I love that you Communicate during your Videos, it helps me to Learn, and it makes your videos more Personable.. Thanks again, your work is beautiful..
Thank you Ceri, you made my day with your sweet comment. I just got home from church and it never fails that someone leaves a bright spot in my Sunday ❤ Thank you 😊
@@chaysiecrochet You are very welcome.. Have a Blessed Day.. I do have a question, if you can answer that would be great, or maybe you could refer me if you dont.. My Great-niece is 3 & my Great-nephew is only 4mo old living in Nova Scotia.. So you have an idea of the weather.. In his Short life, hes been Hospitalized 4 times, and has had Heart Surgery. He is recovering nicely sofar..
My Question is, I'd like to make them each something special.. My Niece calls him "Little Bear".. Since I'm new to Crocheting (8mo) it can't be something really hard with 8 repeat lines..lol..lol.. Could you think on it, or if you don't have time I totally understand.. Either way, I look forward to trying your Tutorials..
Thanks,
Ceri
@@ceribeedle4387 I found this pattern online and I would just suggest using it as a guide. If it is the same Little Bear I'm thinking, one that my kids used to watch when little, this would be a good guide and you could modify it as needed on facial expression etc. I hope it helps, the pattern looks well done, I have not personally worked it up myself. hookingdreams.com/2018/09/08/free-crochet-teddy-bear-pattern/
I will say a special prayer for your sweet nephew 🙏. You have a blessed day as well ❤
@@chaysiecrochet Thanks qgain.. I'll check it out..

Absolutely beautiful scarf. Your patters are so easy and I love your videos you are so good about explaining how to create these beautiful scarfs. Did you add fringe to this scarf? I love fringe, but I always seem to have problems doing it right.
Some ppl are just disrespectful for no reason, anywho😀I love your work this Scarf is BEAUTIFUL! My oldest daughter loves scarfs So I'll be making this one with a hat to match for her Birthday Thanks for Sharing!

Thank you so much Joann ❤ I'm apparently obsessed with this yarn! Lol
thank you for your video it nice. scarf god bless you
Thank you so much Lucy ❤
I found a great dupe for Unforgettable/Landscapes. It's Loops and Threads "Facets" from Michael's. Works just as well and a couple of dollars cheaper!
I have some of this... I need to play with it! Thanks for the suggestion!
I love your tutorials and I like your chit chatting, can you tell me what landscape color you used for this project....thanks
Love your videos, and love your chitchat keep up the great work, don't change a thing...😍😘👍
Just a quick question. What is the mm equivalent of your hook? All of my hooks are graded by their mm size, not by letter - for example 4 weight yarn usually recommends 5 or 5.5 mm hooks. Thanks.
P.S. love your voice and instruction style. Just subscribed to your channel!
Absolutely gorgeous!Thank you for sharing!! The only thing is that I am a bit confused with the multiple as I would like to make it wider. You say multiples of 6+1 which makes 13 or 19 and I do not understand the increments of 2.You mean we add 2+2+2 etc.after 13 or 19 or more?I would appreciate it if you could help!!thnx again!!
I also am confused by this especially since she started with 17. I love love the look of this scarf and would like to make it.
It would be helpful to know how many skeins of the recommended yarn you used plus the equivalent mm to the j hook.
Hello! Please check the description area of my videos as stated, I usually have quite a bit more info in that area. The J hook I use is 6 mm, I used 2 skeins of the suggested yarn. Thank you for your interest in my pattern! 😊
Hi, I love your chit chats so that's really ok, your video, your call :) would like to know if I can do it with cotton instead because I live in Asia, any recommendations?
Hi Claire! I am SO sorry! I am just seeing your comment =( Absolutely! any kind of cotton will work for this pattern. Thank you so much for your kind comment ♥
@@chaysiecrochet Hehe no worries I managed to get the Lion Brand Landscapes, already done and gifted to my friend. Thanks for the lovely tutorial!
I love this design and want to do a throw. I went to the website link and saw how many chains to make and the math you used (thanks for that). So my question is how much yarn do you think I would need???? You used 2 skins for a scarf do I need 12 or more for a throw????
Thanks for the video I love the help and ideas you share with us!!!!
Thank you for your kind words Linda! ❤ The Landscapes is a bit smaller of a skein, you would probably be looking at around 16-18 skeins. You could get away with less with a bigger skein of yarn. It might be worth it to play with different fibers, even Caron Simply Soft to see how well that produces the look as that will cut your skein count down a bit 😊
Colleen Hays ok thanks for the information
💖"ADORABLY GORGEOUS.!!" Thank You.!!.. dear Kind Colleen.! 🌹🌷🌹 I am So very GRATEFUL.!! 👍
So sweet of you ❤ Thank you 😊
I love this pattern. However, I seemed to have lost the right size hook & the one I'm using isn't looking right. I will save this project until I have the right hook.
I hope you found your hook! 😊❤🙌
Love it...Are you able to make a hat to match?
I am currently working on a hat pattern 😊 Thank you!
How many skeins did you use
So the multiple is 6+1, right? The plus 2 thereafter is confusing the heck out of me. Great video, btw.
I'm sorry that you're dealing with this
