didnt oracle do some sail boat stuff a while back. got low attendance. i dont want the bay to be turned into a sports arena. that crowd was not necessarily there for the race. people are out there all the time for the scenery. another gimmick business getting free advertisement by the news. not an sf thing.

If I recall, Oracle did have races in the late 90's to early 2000s.
Oracle was in the Americas Cup in 2013, they won the cup from New Zealand! It was held in SF day
