The government is doing very little to solve the problem. Heres what alot of people don't know. Most wealthy countries we know today like UK, USA, and Germany etc also started off very poor. But some where along that journey their governments and private sectors came up with implemented policies that reduced poverty to what we know today. It took decades to do it. Are poor countries copying those strategies from richer countries? Few are. Many don't. And the result is what we see today.
