  • This time I stayed at "eeGee STAY" capsule hotel in Kamata, Tokyo. Kamata has traditional hot springs and a shopping district full of adults. It is conveniently located near Tokyo Station and Haneda Airport. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy the video!!
    ☆★☆Hotel Promotion☆★☆
    *We are located right in front of the station, so you won't get lost.
    *All-you-can-drink coffee and juice. Soft ice cream is also all-you-can-eat.
    *It is a new hotel and very clean.
    *I think it is one of the BEST capsule hotel in Tokyo.

      There was no free curry at this hotel. In terms of food, the Omiya may be superior!!

    I found this one of the most lovely interiors for a capsule hotel 😊 All the details and finishings just looked lovely and the lounge space very modern and fun and showers very clean and fresh. The walls were plywood (or similar) and I've seen these in finished construction in some tiny homes where they are the perfect finish. Definitely a place I'd love to stay at 😊

      Whether you consider the interior pretty or cheesy is up to the individual. I think it is cute. It is a lovely hotel, and you should definitely visit it when you come to Japan!! Thanks for your comment.

    • @TokyoCapsuleCollection
      @TokyoCapsuleCollection  Рік тому +4

      I think it's okay for such a tourist to stay at this kind of hotel. Procedures are often computerized, so language is less of a concern.

  • @jamesford5504
    @jamesford5504 Рік тому +4

    Well now I know how to spot a Japanese tourist to America, if there standing completely on the left or right side of an escalator while everyone else doesn't. Yeah you got a tourist who's got a cultural tradition in grained in that it can't even change in a foreign country.

      Japanese are a strange (interesting) race.... Anyway, thanks for your comment!

  • @DrakeFeatherwing
    @DrakeFeatherwing Рік тому +4

    I think I'd be confused for an Osakan, as I'm right-side dominant and I would need to hang on to the right side of an escalator to feel balanced.

    • @TokyoCapsuleCollection
      @TokyoCapsuleCollection  Рік тому +4

      Opening one side of an escalator walkway is confusing. The real rule, however, is to stand on both sides of it. It is really confusing!!

    This is cute, maybe I missed it but where do you put a suitcase?

    • @TokyoCapsuleCollection
      @TokyoCapsuleCollection  Рік тому +4

      Small suitcases can be left inside the room. Large suitcases should be placed in the hallway and secured with a chain lock. Japan is a safe country, so there is no need to worry about them being stolen!!

    • @TokyoCapsuleCollection
      @TokyoCapsuleCollection  Рік тому +3

      No, it is not rough. I don't know what the material is, but the surface is smooth and cushioned. Anyway, thanks for your comment!!

    • @enquire422
      @enquire422 Рік тому +3

      They would have coated the multi strand chip-board with clear varnish to remove any roughness. Many modern building incorporate this type of rough design within the building as kitchen cupboards or seating furniture. If done correctly it does look brilliant!!

    Can you talk on the phone in the capsule? Is the locker big enough for a size 29’ big suitcase?

    • @TokyoCapsuleCollection
      @TokyoCapsuleCollection  Рік тому +3

      You cannot talk on the phone in the capsule. Such large suitcases must be chained to a pillar in the hallway. Japan is a very safe country, so the contents of your suitcase will not be stolen.
