Thanks for sharing another great video. One thing I like about your reviews is that you talk slow and are peaceful.

I’ve never seen your channel! It’s so nice to see different curricula shown. I’ve never seen Science Shepherd but it looks amazing and thorough I like your History choices as well. What grade level are they geared toward?

Ta'Shiba I The Joyful Warrior yes! The science looks amazing, can’t wait to dive in! The history can be used for all ages. The activity book is more so for grades 1-4 but I’ll gonna let my rising 5th grader do the map activities and the test book is geared towards grades 5th-8th but I’m gonna see if both my rising 4th and 5th graders can tackle it! Thanks for watching. 😀

Hello! I love your channel! I’m wondering if you happen to have any recommendations for phonetic readers (especially for the younger set, grades K-3) that could be a multi-cultural replacement for something like Faith and Freedom readers. The phonetic-based readers that we’ve used and loved in our Catholic homeschool include Faith and Freedom readers and American Cardinal readers. I think they are wholesome and wonderful, but... I just wish there was an alternative where images of brown-skinned people are mixed with the images of light-skinned people. I don’t want to lose the quality or Catholic content of the Faith and Freedom readers, but would love a bit more of a multi-cultural approach. Any chance you have any specific book suggestions for a Catholic mom looking for more multi-cultural illustrations and content? My two youngest are African American, and I’d appreciate any insights you may have. Thank you!

Elizabeth Leone thanks for your kind words! Unfortunately I haven’t found many that are multicultural. I do love the readers from catholic heritage curricula and also the Usborne My Very First Reading Library book set! I can do a video on those if you’d like! ☺️ Thanks for watching!

CHC Science and Social Studies have a lot of hands on activities. I can't imagine trying to use it with five children. LOL

Michelle Channell yes, it does! I love CHC but since I was using it with 3 children it got way too overwhelming so I just put them all in the 3rd grade behold and see book! Lol

I'd never heard of this curriculum before earlier today, and now here's a video about it! *L* Is this a curriculum geared to Catholics or general Christianity?

How have you liked this science curriculum? I've been thinking about it for next year.

Rolanda Bradley we’ve enjoyed it. I will most definitely use this program again!I only wish the teacher spoke with more enthusiasm. Which that isn’t such a big deal, that’s just the only thing I’d change about it! Hope that helps! 😊

@@perfectlychaoticnest6905 The teacher reminds me of a Mr. Roger's type. I also thought he could be a bit more enthusiastic, but then I thought, there's so much hype in every movie, tv show and learning video today, perhaps it's good for kids to learn from a calm teacher. Back in the 80's kids got too used to the fast paced Sesame Street with its ever changing scenes and they forgot how to sit still and listen.

@@thewordrules my thoughts exactly! I’m currently using this with my now 2nd and 3rd grade daughters. They definitely get bored more easily than my boys ever have with this curriculum but what I’ve been doing with them is sorta “re teaching” the material to them in a way that’s more exciting and in a way that they can relate.(using lots of examples of experiences they’ve had, incorporating their favorite dolls in the lessons, etc.) I ultimately have them teach me what they’ve learned just to see if they’ve been engaged during lessons… overall I’d still continue using this with my younger kiddos as they reach school age because it’s such a good starting point and it allows me the freedom of not having to plan or prep anything. Being a busy mom of many with an extremely busy life I will forever prefer open and go curriculum! Thanks for watching, I hope my videos help someone even just a little bit… 😉

Hi, I've been looking into this curriculum for my girls for next fall. They will be ages 7 and 8. My 8 year old is advanced in reading and math... would you recommend that she does book B? And I am thinking that my soon to be 7 year old would do book A. They will be going into 2nd and 3rd grade. I would appreciate any input! Thanks!

Lena Delaney book A would probably be too easy for her. She may do better with book B. If I’m not mistaken there are sample pages on the website. I definitely recommend that you check it out to be sure!
