    what do you think about skincare in jar packaging? don't you think the antioxidants become useless when exposed to air again and again?

    Just revisited this again as I can’t read or type Korean and can never remember the the name. my skins life’s taken a beating with the warm summer to overnight winter switch we’ve had in the uk. Re ordered the dynasty cream as it saved my skin last winter , without a single trace of oiliness or heavyweight grease on my face. I have never experienced anything like this cream. It looks like thick gloopy wallpaper paste in the jar, but instantly turns water like and disappears into my skin within seconds but my skin is so plump and moist all day. Your product reviews are the highlight of my day when they pop up 😍 x x

    The last time I sent a message I had just started to use Korean products, and I have more than pleased. I have became a face mask addicted, double cleaning nut, but the results are spectacular and all my friends have notice the change in my skin. Please continue to educate woken on the care of their skin. I am starting to educate myself about urgency of caring of my body and mind. Thanks

    OK, I've tried the Beauty of Joseon Dynasty Cream and love it! I first used it with only a cleansed face, no other products. Great! Now I use it as part of my total nighttime routine. It has a gel-cream consistency, which is good for those of us in the warmer climates, where Spring has sprung. I wasn't able to do my morning routine today and my skin feels just as baby-soft as last night.
    Thanks for the recommendation!

I'm turning 34 this month and, although I'm a little behind, I'm really trying to get a strong handle on my anti-aging preventative skincare. Hi, I love the information you are putting forward. All your skincare recommendations are topnotch. However, during your video, can you give the product a little more screen time? Maybe show a image of the product while you are talking about it. Because holding it up for about 1/10 of a second is really hard to get familiar with the product.

    I really love your videos so much , I live in the uk and videos like yours help me make decisions onto which products to try and find online and buy from Korea . You are right about niacinamide it's an incredible ingredient . Do you know or can you find out what percentage niacinamide these products are ? There us a serum I've seen from the USA with 15% niacinamide , it's very expensive indeed but at that level it would work amazing ! Also I know Adenosine is a magic anti ageing ingredient do you know any brands or products with high levels Adenosine in it , adenosine is the life giver within the body's cells :) and so incredible for the skin . If you fancy trying out something from the UK just let me know :) your videos are amazing !!!

    • @gothamista
      @gothamista  8 років тому +1

      +Daniel Asher Saville Hi there! I don't know the %age niacinamide but for Joseon dynasty cream and the Shara Bombs, they are 4 down on ingredients list which is hefty. Those products also contain Adenosine which I agree, is an amaaaaaze ingredient. I always find it lingers quite low on most ingredient lists. As for the 15% niacinamide serum, I remain cautious about that one, or even a little scared! I'm not entirely convinced that high of a percentage in a formula is necessarily great for the skin...yet. But I am definitely watching... Thank you so much for your comment! Btw, where do you find your Korean products in the UK? People ask all the time.

  • @carolynlee9051
    @carolynlee9051 8 років тому +3

    Btw Renee, I am gonna ask you something. I'm a product junkee, I bought lotsa things to try, and have at least 10 jars of moisturizers/packs on my table. I notice that you have lotsa products as well. Does that mean that you are gonna finish them within 12 months? since most products have those little symbol labelling "12M". Sometimes, I just can't finish products within 12M, and those r products I rarely use so.. you know. I dun wan to throw them away but I am concerned about that 12M sigh. What would be your insight on this?

      Deanna Henschel I worked in cosmetics and after 12 months when opened the formula starts to break down and antioxidants certainly have had their day, hope this helps.

    Renee, is that how to spell your name? I was wondering, how was the Dynasty cream? You know I've been worrying about getting cream that are too sticky, but have heard lotsa great reviews about this. Now that you have it, I am soooooo intrigued to find out more XD Anyway, another GREAT review~! TQ

      +Carolyn Lee it's hard for me to comment on how much stickiness anyone else will get from a product or can tolerate. To me it's not that sticky especially after a few minutes but my skin sucks up products like crazy. I actually think it's great for normal or combination skin.

    OMG Thank you so much!!! I have mature skin and I am using Retin A. Any (or all) of these products sound like just what my dry, flaky skin is seriously craving. Do you (or any of the Gothmista divas) have any recommendations for a foundation for very dry, mature, super fair with pink undertone foundation??? Thank you! Love watching you :)

      Chantecaille future skin, or just fix a few drops of your face oil in with a hydrating foundation, when I was using Retin A I stuck to hydrating bb creams though

    Hi. I have so much freckles around my eyes, including lid areas which make eye shadow application not so nice looking. So much freckles right underneath both eyes. So my question is can I apply sunscreen there? Will sunscreen cause milea seeds? Thanks.

      That's great to hear! I've been eyeing this product for a while. Although I have "oily skin"...I buy skin care products marketed for dry skin. I say marketed because we could all use hydration! I find my skin just responds better to these products. Since I rarely get pimples, I'm sticking to it!!! Will definitely give it a try!!

    LOL you're a good seller I was a little unsure whether to buy the joseon cream or not but now I really want it with your review. I am just wondering how much alcohol really goes into this formula? I do get breakouts from time to time specially with new products, so I try to keep it the most natural as possible if I can, also cause I have some skin marks as well, kinda like sunburn gets worse with it.

    • @gothamista

      Hi! The formula has no alcohol so no worries!

    Hi Renee... thanks for this informative video! I have aging skin. Which one or two of these products would you recommend for me? I'm leaning towards the Beauty of Joseon Dynasty Cream and the Tunda Chaga but would like to get your opinion. Thank you!

    • @gothamista
      @gothamista  8 років тому

      +Sheila Red Hi Sheila! You chose the 2 I would recommend and they're quite different. Depending on what other skin concerns you have, the Tundra is extra nourishing and moisturizing which is reflected in a higher price point. The Dynasty cream is great for hydration, pigmentation and if you have relatively normal skin...hope that helps

    Thank you for all your information , I have been subscribing your UA-cam Chanel , and I must say, your knowledge of skincare is a real thumbs up, I am sixty years old, what would you recommend for me a cream for under make up or primer, I do use retinol for my skin care, Thank you so much, Much love Bee Hune 💗👍🏻😍 n do take care of yourself .

    • @gothamista
      @gothamista  8 років тому

      +Blue Clouds Hi! Thank you!! If you are flaking from the retinol, I would definitely recommend something quite emollient like the creams in my moisturizers video, the Dr Jart one is great. Otherwise, the Dynasty cream is great too for holding everything together under makeup and keeping skin hydrated!
