(1) Why is there one single DNA at 1:39, but suddenly multiple chromosomes at 2:14? Is the single initial DNA strain split into the chromosomes before mitosis? (2) How is it possible then, that humans have chromosome pairs? Where did the pairs come from if the original is a single DNA strain for each cell? Is the initial strain made of two equivalent halves, one from father and one from mother or something? (3) What does the mitosis of Y chromosome look like (I assume every cell contains the XY/XX pair as well, even when going through Mitosis)?
i think you made a mistake, because centrioles replicate only during the S phase. mitochondria, golgi aparatus and the endoplasmic reticulum replicates in the G2 Phase
One of the Best Mitosis video! Thank you!
I really appreciate the effort in this video ❤❤
nice concise explanation. thanks
Great video of mitosis

I want to take these cells and squish them in my hands
hoy say answer ani tung concept map HAHAHHAHAHAHHAH
100 trillion cells??? That's way too high! It's more like 37.2 trillion.
Hi ma'am ness

Centrioles do not replicate during G1. They replicate during S or the S/G2 junction. Only the stratum basal layer cells of the skin undergo mitosis.
