look at all these kids who dont understand hmong anymore. These kids probably didn't grow up around Jjen's time. man their use of the hmong vocabulary and how they use it make it pleasing to the ear is phenomenal and yet still able to convey such a deep meaning. they were waaay ahead of their time. hmong songs these days can barely keep up. I mean cmon look how stylish and creative they are and don't forget the hard piano in the background. GORGEOUS hmong music right here.

Honestly I am very fluent & understand Hmong well. But in some certain parts of this song, I did not understand what she was singing about. It took me a while to understand. This song has great meaning & its a song I enjoy listening to and think about. But dont get upset that some listeners cant understand this song, cause in some particular parts it is quite hard to understand her (& it will take time to understand). Also, I agree that Hmong kids dont know Hmong anymore
