Rejected Takeoff at Speed - EasyJet Airbus A321 Neo - Wizzair Go around

- Todays Rejected Takeoff from the stream. Here is G-UZMA applying full brakes upon realising a problem on Runway 08R Gatwick airport. Their were talks on the Radio of Oil warnings. The aircraft came to a very sharp stop from its takeoff speed. seeing an aircraft brake like that at speed shows just how well these pilots are trained to handle any emergency situation at the first sign of danger. Respect to the Crew involved, I can only imagine a few passengers were not used to such braking action. See a Wizzair perform a go around after being to by ATC to perform it

The issue was caused by an Oil pressure alarm
Just as I suspected 😅
It wasn"t an alarm. The engine failed

I was on that flight! We finally took off about an hour and a half later without a hitch. Now relaxing in sunny Rhodes

Lucky enough we had it confirmed by EZY the flight went back to gate, everything reset then flight continued

@@SDTVLiveAviation The amount of training and practice they have to do for thankfully not very often occurrences. Its certainly an uncomfortable moment when you are thinking you are about to take off and suddenly you are stopping extremely quickly.

Chris might not have noticed the rejected takeoff, due to responding to chat, but as soon as the words "go around" came over ATC, He was focused straight away turning 180 degrees to catch the Wizzair pulling up and raising the wheels. Nicely done Chris !

One thing I still don’t know is why the Ryanair 737 performed an go around too even though the easyJet was already of the runway
They needed to do a runway inspection before the next aircraft was allowed to use the runway
A vehicle was sent out to check the runway.
