This is part of the reason why I love running in Liyue... Their ost is so calm... Liyue legit has one of the calmest, most beautiful sceneries. Liyue is my favourite nation because it embodies China, and the tradition is so lovely. I love their outfits and attacks too, like Keqing, Ganyu, Yanfei, Zhongli. Everywhere in Liyue just screams culture, I love it.
I listen to this to restrain myself from playing genshin since I have 3 essays due tomorrow. but it just makes me want to play genshin REALLY BAD INSTEAD. btw, i really like this playlist~

Come back to this comment to say I've cranked out an entire 2000-word historical essay on the relationship between Mao Zedong and Stalin during the Chinese Civil War to this music... of course I had to loop it about 5 times, but it helped to imagine that Zhongli was coaching me through it. Now that I've finished, I keep thinking this could be smth like the Archon War and this is what Zhongli waxes poetic to Childe about or the stuff he tells Traveler as they chill in Liyue

I cant play genshin anymore due to storage so I've been avoiding listening to ost for a while because it makes me remember how much I miss the game, but I played this while reading and I almost burst into tears omg. I miss genshin so much, it felt like home for many years and I really hope I can play it again someday

I love Mondstat with all of my heart but Liyue has the best music in the whole game (and also really beautiful scenery).
I take that back, I love the dawn winery and stormterrors layer and dragonspine
i wish mihoyo would revisit monstadt for once, maybe an archon quest or something. The nostalgia of walking through monstadt with the beautiful soundtrack is amazing, but the sad feeling of knowing that you probably wont ever be there again is sad.
Also, mihoyo likes to prioritize liyue characters for banners and events

I downloaded the game only a few weeks ago, and have been working my way through Liyue slowly. I adored the music, and came across this video. Within hours of closing youtube and opening the game back up, I found this exact scene in game. I lost my shit at the beautiful timing of it all.
They played this song collection for my daughter in the NICU. Calmed her right down and let her sleep well. She’s home now and still loves listening to it.

Fontaine is so pretty and fun to run everywhere in. Oh, and swim and dive, and it is busier than Monstadt, but it's so glamourous. I want to have coffee and leave 🎉🎉🎉
Sumeru is pretty. It's truly pretty but so vast that I get overwhelmed easily. I do enjoy resources hunting there 🤭
The Sumeru cities seem so stuffy for some reason. I guess I never really liked school, so I want to run away all the time. I prefer the outer towns/villages.
Inuzuma is actually so very pretty but terrifying. I'm too scared to say hi to people because with my good fortune of running into enemies, it's more likely that the random "villager" is a rogue 😂
I also wish the city and towns had more interactive things like more vendors or chests? Idk ❤
