If we are going upon recent tines he performs brutally in the last 4 seasons or so and it's not that he calls him the best Terran right now, he often calls him the best player in the world right now which is definitely wrong.

Snow's been the #1 toss for a good while. The question has been whether he can get over his tournament nerves to perform to his full potential, or if that 0-4 from Flash is going to cloud him with doubt for the rest of his career. And even that series was played MUCH closer than the final score implied. Snow had Flash against the wall multiple times.
On ladder he is No.1 for sure, in tournament format I still want to give it to Mini and thats not to discredit Snow but more about how insanely good Mini is when playing his best, absolute mastermind. Won 1 ASL, 4x finalist, this is quite a statistic. I hope Snow gets it this time, everyone wants him to win and think he should win it and it does add alot of pressure onto him, it'll free him to unleash beast mode in the future im sure.

There was a point during the middle of the game when the zerg had basically the same supply as the P, which makes me think the Z was favored. But in the ensuing battles I don't think the Z did enough micro to get his hydras out of storms. I'm terrible at it myself but often during pro matches I see a lot of zerg doing a lot to evade storms after the spell has been cast. Nearly all of the trades were extremely unfavorable to the zerg in this match

He might not though - I think he plays his best when he's fully relaxed at his home, when in the studio, pressure gets to him and he becomes sloppy. Check his latest ASL games - it's like completely different person playing.

wow snow is so insane at converting the templars that would get sniped into archons, and then also tanking as much damage as possible on archons before losing them... pretty tough to win on lair tech without a way to consistently snipe templars
if 815 just made lurkers this game would have looked so different. he constantly had 600-1000 gas in his bank and his hydras were dying 6 at a time to a single storm. if he was forcing P to spend gas on observers + storm his lurkers the overall storm on hydra count would be much smaller and hydras would just crush snow's units
this is so true. having a more complex unit composition gives you more options tactically and strategically. this game was over as soon as that 3rd base dropped.
Yes Snow is the best. His half of the ro8 in ASL17 is tough though. No terrans plus he has to get past Mr. Cheese himself in Bisu. Should be a lotta fun.
@JO-zf4ky Certainly not. Soulkey is tough though, and Snow's worst matchup. Soulkey doesn't get quite the attention that Snow gets, but his last year and a half have been just as great.

I know you don't necessarily read all the comments, but I think there's a strategy Terrans aren't using against zergs (which would only be effective at very high levels). Whenever the zerg overload can only see the eastern side of the barracks, why don't terrans sometimes use it as bait? As in, queue 2 marines, then cancel the one that is almost built, so that the lights keep flashing, but they aren't actually spending minerals on marines. I feel like a terran could probably tech to metal signifcantly faster. They could even start a bunker rush with this, building 3 actual marines, then just build-->cancel and mass to goliath real quick? Dunno, just an idea. I guess without the actual marines, you wouldn't be able to push out and scare them into morphing creep colonies, which probably wastes more money than this trick would benefit.

He trampled 3 top Terrans in SCSL sure. But that has always been his specialty. If he wins this ASL, and especially if he can beat Soulkey in semi, and then Her0 in the finals, then he'd be truly #1. No one will be able to say he got lucky with matchups. It's a very tall order though.
after snow held the 1st wave on 3rd nexas, you can hear that artosis really doesn't want to cast anymore, since that is just no way zerg can win after that.

No, he selects the weakened hatchery first but then scrolls and quickly clicks the main hatchery that's at full health.
