- Stoner-rock/sludge-metal group Corrosion of Conformity descended on New York City's Gramercy Theatre on February 13th to play a headlining set in support of their latest album, 'No Cross No Crown' - their first LP since 2000 to feature the classic lineup of Pepper Keenan, Woody Weatherman, Mike Dean and Reed Mullin - and Revolver's film crew was there to capture all the action. Watch the full performance now including C.O.C. ripping through tracks like "Stonebreaker," "Seven Days," "Clean My Wounds" and more.
Pepper and Woody = Most underappreciated guitar duo.
No woody and mike , most under appreciated guitar duo! Peppers a poser!
@@dezionlion you sound like a jealous poser. Lol
I agree! Woody has an unique vibrato
Most underrated band ever!
Totally agree. Check out “ shoveljerk” swarm, you would dig it. Peace my brothers.

Some of their best
Man, I was hoping they would play "It Is That Way" the last time they stopped thru here...heavy duty.
John Green on the skins is holding the beat down and having a good time out there esp. on Clean My Wounds...oh yeah!
Thanks man. Gotta love ppl throwin the time stamps up 🤘🏼
Awesome band
Amazing band! ¨Drink some beer, smoke..., listen CROWBAR and let´s not forget Reed Mullin...¨
I still can not understand how this band did not reach the same level as metallica, pantera, megadeth. The musical quality is the same. I think so. I watch these shows, there is not a bad song. The live band on stage is perfect. Record quality on disc audios is perfect. And they do not perform in crowded arenas.
So many band line up & direction changes......3 piece to 5 piece to 4 ......hardcore to metal to southern rock to sabbath.....that's some reasons I'm sure. I've followed since 85....I've never gave up and enjoyed the changes.
@@johnnynobuddy1 I agree with you man. but let´s remember black sabbath. endless line up and direction changes. but´90% of fans are mad about the the early days era.
Corrosion are better, be happy you know of them!
They weren’t quite grunge, and in the 90s that’s what sold. And in the mid 2000s they petered out. Unfortunately, things just don’t work out and not every band that deserves to be at the Pantallica stage can get there. Whats important is that the hardcore fans hung on and can enjoy them now. Saw them live January 2018, they were amazing. I literally cried when they did “13 Angels”.
LE
In The Arms of God is a completely overlooked front to back masterpiece. If Zeppelin, Sabbath and Skynyrd had a lovechild...
A must have album! Along with "Cleansing" by Prong, two rarely mentioned but killer albums!!!
This needs more likes, C.O.C is awesome. The guy filling in on drums is slaying it and R.I.P. Reed Mullin.
What happened to Reed Mullen?
@@errollgibbons4305 he wasn't taking care of himself, they let him go, and he succumbed to his demons at the end of January. No mention of cause of death.
Fuck yeah... John Green was the perfect choice to take over for Reed! John has the fiyah!
America's Volume Dealer I bought it used in a record store in Catania in 2002/3 I think I remember and from there it was love for the C.O.C
Cheers from East Coast Sicily ✌️
They apologised for the high ticket prices when they opened up for Metallica! Been seeing C.O.C. since 1986 always in small clubs all over. That's the way I like it lol
Fuck Metallica! C.O.C is the real deal \m/
Best up close and personal imo
so glad to have come across this. great performance by one of the most underrated bands
Pure Raw Talent ! Pepper has a strong Bad Ass Voice that tears NYC down to New Orleans!
Legends! Been a fan since '84
Another one of my all time favorite bands , thank you , tod . . .
WOODY IS THE COOLEST FUCKING GUITARIST EVER!!!! He is the Lead, But allows Pepper to do his Magic on Lead and Woody plays Rhythm- and they blend in back and forth,,, Now how fucking amazing is That!!!!!
Pepper Keenan Please Don’t Ever Forget “Broken Man!!”Saw you inSayreville New Jersey recently with Crowbar ,Quaker City Nighthawks and y’all didn’t play “broken man “my heart was broken! Still Love you Pepper!!
Thank you Revolver! You guys rule. C.O.C. are one of the best bands ever and what a quality recording! Oh, and who were the senile ones with the 3 thumbs down?
Yeah fuck the thumbs down, if you don't dig this band/show, find whatever you really want to hear! Buh-bye!
Senile and clearly naive and stupid on what REAL Metal sounds like!
Man man I’ve been jamming you guys since I’ve been a kid
One of my alltime favorites, such a good quartet, had this lineup stayed together, great chemistry on em 4, CoC deserves more credit!! Titans they are, i luv this band forever!!
My love of Down brought me to COC. This is amazing. Admittedly, I enjoy their later stuff. They're my age and Gen X does it best.
I do really enjoy their current sound, but back in hardcore days, they could blow it up then too. Trust me on that.
The other guitarist in Down is named Kirk Windstein. He’s the frontman for Crowbar, you should definitely check them out. Start with the song Planets Collide and then Sonic Excess in its purest form!!!
The first down record brought to them as well. I didn’t realize pepper was the guitarist and was pleasantly surprised
Been a fan since late 80’s,,and i still go see them when they hitt CANADA.LOVE EM...
Best band ever!
EPIC SETLIST:

It Is That Way....CRUSHING! Fuck yeah, COC!
Love this band to bits
I love the 80's COC, but come on this is excellent! Rock!
Great professional overall production in audio and video. Sonically incredible
No doubt 1 of the Best guitar combos Eva, Pep & Woody
Come on man, don't leave out Mike. He's like a crazy muppet on that Bass guitar.
CoC has been one of my favorite bands since Deliverance came out. Glad to see em still going!
Mike Dean is a beast
So happy to see it is that way on the setlist. I go to every COC show within 4 hours..
Badass song for sure
Born again for the last time , don't be so sure . Pepper , we still might need you . Fight the good fight , as you and your band try to get the world together , thank you , tod . . .
the best I'm missing them
Keep 🔥🔥🔥 I love this band 🤘🤘
We Love you Pepper!!!
LOVE THIS BAND LIVE \,/
ha this is great i went to this show and will go again
Awesome show coc never disappoints
What's not to love about the new guy but it was Reed who came up with the name and don't you ever forget that🤟🏃💔
That opening solo by Woodroe is very Iommian 🤘🤘🤘
Always said they have that Sabbath vibe
Great setlist!
Good Band!!!!! RIP Reed!!!!!!
Was lucky to see CoC at T T the Bears in Cambridge Ma with Wrecking Crew back in 1987
4 more years , my hand is not tied up anymore , . . .
My gf and I saw them last February when they came to Nashville. Fucking awesome show.
Had the pleasure of interviewing Woody live on KDUX FM in support of "Deliverance-" they opened for Megadeth on their "Youthanasia" tour and absolutely CRUSHED IT! LOVE COC!
That's cool - Deliverance was a great album.
I know the Rock N Roll Hall of Shame would get some street cred if this MONSTER band would get voted in by THE PEOPLE because they have stayed hard and true to the fuckin MUSIC!
NICE I LOVE THIS BAND!!!!!!!!! F€%k yessssss
Better than the big four put all together.
Just flawless.
Saw this tour from the side of the stage in Philly....they tore it the fuck up.
C.O.C. kicks ass like any other band if not stomps them in the ground, they don't have not one bad tune at all
COC Very Good.
I💕 COC 🤘
Anybody who gave this a thumbs down has no real sense of any great quality whatsoever! You fools!
Reborn
That's not the drummer I remember but this dude they got now got all kinds of groove don't look like hes doing much but he is dudes kill n it.
I heard that drummer was the drum tech for the band and was asked to step up when Reed's health was going to shit...drummer has the fiyah!
Pepppaaaaa!!!
CoC=DOWN without Phil. Still 🔥 AF!
I’m ok with their music now but it’s a far cry from the first album I bought from them in the 80’s their first Eye For an Eye..followed by their 2nd album Animosity and then of course Technocracy...then they went more metal with blind...and changing singers for the 4th time and now pepper being the 5th but I’m still listening and enjoying
Hell YES! Shout out from Charlotte, NC!
Represent fromNC
Has a COC/Monster Magnet bill ever happened? Sounds like a badass show to me...
I would love to see something like that!!
Yes. 1995 MM opened for some COC shows. I saw them in NYC at the Academy. COC’s cover of Sabbath’s Lord of this World was awesome. I was 20 years old. Here is a list of the tour: www.monstermagnetliveguide.com/1995.html
@Michael Uhl that would be the perfect show 🤘
I agree that would be great
Future , 4 the truth , 5 the time , 63 ,. I am me , tod , is the rhyme , peace , love , hope and understanding , tod ,. . . .
we need woody weatherman sig guitar pear sg
Gotta love pepper
Mike Dean is Corrosion of Conformity ...........
Ive never played an Orange or Green amp. Are they better than a Marshall or Mesa?
When Black Sabbath and Lynyrd Skynyrd have a love baby.
FUCK YES
No Redemption City?
Vote with a Bullet, kills everytime!
That guitar tone is so damn heavy at the beginning of the song. I wish they did more stuff like that.
Totally appropriate given this ungodly end to the joke presidency of Trump...Am not Republican or Democrat, I just desire some logic, sense, and decency! Is this too much to ask?!
@@thedude8526 The whole song RIPS!
Senor limpio
Bring back Jason Patterson back he was great for that arms of god tour 😃🤟🤘
But Stanton Moore saved COC on the In The Arms Of God album! Unsung hero in my eyes! But, John Green is making all of the real fans of this epic band smile with his intensity and attention to detail! Fly on, John Green!
Where is the drummer that played on Deliverance & Wiseblood? He is bad-ass!
Reed is having some issues....he could not play at a UK show so they were cancelling until it was suggested that Green (a crew guy) could learn the songs. He had less than 24 hours. He did it and the show was saved. He has been on the skins ever since. I took my daughter to see them last week, in Dallas. They were actually tighter than at this NY show. Pepper signed a tshirt and took pics with us. COC with Pepper Keenan is my all time, go to, favorite metal. He is the real deal. They all brought it and then some! Great show!
RIP Reed Mullin
@@morebsnstuf yeah this band with this kid on the drums could go another 20 years, I hope!
Did someone ever request a Down cover on one of their concerts? I'm gonna see them live Monday and I wanna know if they ever did that. rock on madafakas
I don't think so.. Down is Down, COC is COC! My opinion is no. Anyone else?
i love both bands, but no, i dont think they have ever played a Down song, and i dont think they should.
Alexandre Correia dont even ask man it's kinda rude..
Yeah that’s like asking Kirk Windstein to play a Down song. A bit disrespectful. COC and Crowbar are honestly better than Down anyways!
Down used to have this skit where Pepper and the band would play Albatross and Phil would pretend to be offened. It was fun.
Not a single jam off the new album.
Fuck yes
King of the rotten?
who's on drums?
John Green, reed's drum tech. not sure what is going on with Reed but he had surgery last year and maybe hasn't had a good recovery.
I think he’s killing it though. He’s got his own presence back there...
John’s a great guy and a killer drummer.
I' m not so sure Reed is coming back guys.. We will see , hope I am wrong on this 1..
@@daveyboy8907 Due to his knee problem or sadly due to his drinking issues? In any case sad to hear
👍 COC
Is it just me for does Reed look British lol
That's not Reed.
@Satur9_ in_Capricorn he is their drum tech. I don't know what Reed is up to nowadays.
@@maxh9579 I read they booted reed.
@@0509killer I just read an interview from August 7th 2019 where Mike said Reed can come back to the band anytime as long as he gets his stuff together and takes care of himself. He had an alcohol related seizure in 2016
@Satur9_ in_Capricorn the fill in drummer/tech is John Green from the UK who was 'basically teching for us' - Mike Dean
Oh now they’re “stoner sludge metal” wtf revolver?
Not sure I understand your comment, they've been playing this style since like '94.
Where the fuck is Reed??
He's having a problem with substance abuse...To the point where he was having seizures...
Would've expected better sound quality from a pro recording. COC Rules
Listening through Bose QC over-the-ear headphones and band sounds human and ear-crushing to me, great separation of instruments... Sounds equally clean and pounding! Love this band! \m/
Man, Pepper sounds like shit nowadays
They've been on tour for quite a while. I'm sure his voice is getting tired. At least they don't autotune it.
They should just be called" Conformity"...they lost that corrosion a long time ago.
Been a fan since late 80’s,,and i still go see them when they hitt CANADA.LOVE EM...
