I was a Marvel comics (DC too) fan all through the 1970's, but never have I seen such goofy storylines and script.
It's as if they're pandering to kids, but there's way too much adult content, or should I say, stupid, promiscuous adult content. I think these writers only serve to dumb down American society.

Oliver looks cool, which means he's more limited in what looks good. Barry looks adorable. So he can wear almost anything.

I like how when Oliver was running he was smiling. He was thinking of everything that made him happy to run faster. And when Barry was actually taking Olivers advice on channeling his anger.
My fave thing about the crossover so far actually...how they actively tried to take the advice and act like each other.

This crossover delivered the goods so well. Oliver was a believable Barry, and Barry a believable Oliver, and they finally brought Superman in for the first fight with them and Supergirl.
This was epic. What's weird though is that this episode actually felt like one stand on own episode. Last years crossover all 4 episodes just kinda felt like one long movie to me.

Yea, they did this crossover in three different episodes. Not as one single thing.
Production team has gone on record to say that they specifically aimed to make each episode feel like its own thing, especially since Earth-X was very much serialized.
@@DaveBob96 i honestly prefer Earth-X's style of crossover, because it feels like an actual major big crossover. Heroes vs Aliens(which shared Elseworld's style) was a but dull because they felt too different from one another. if the styles of each show were combined as well as Crisis on Earth-X for this... i'd be much more satisfied. i have no doubt i'll love this crossover, but i'd love it even more if the style was more like Crisis on Earth-X.

Soron66 Mike Grell's run had a GA with quips and that was from the 80s. Which GA comics are you referring to because Green Arrow only started becoming the brooding type post new 52.

i thought they were going to use kryptonite to weaken him yes. however, i guess they decided to not use Kryptonite this time because it'd weaken their two strongest team mates.
The lighting was really dark and it was shown very briefly, but.... 4:08 that's a kryptonite arrow.
@@IzaTRex I think because it was constantly trying to phase and also going back to the solid state at the same time (having super impenetrable skin) the kryptonite was a safety measure in case the arrow hit it at its solid state and not phase state.
@@Samex4rill Oliver was counter-attacking the phase, so even though Amazo was trying to phase, nothing would pass through it. That's why Kara and Clark could still hold Amazo. The kryptonite arrow is to penetrate Amazo, so that the computer virus could upload into Amazo's system.

Not as emotionally complex as the Justice League episode, but still awesome
I belive it was called 'tabula rasa', featured AMAZO fighting the league, Lex luthor doing his double-talking bullcrap and it also handled deep topics like 'what is it, to be alive?', 'I think, therefore I am' and a brief moment of 'to not generalize a whole society' (thanks to a revelatory experience by the martian manhunter)
The episode is a two-parter (as were most of the episodes before it changed to 'justice league unlimited').
DCAU justice league was the GOAT.
The whole Justice League animated run...just so awesome. You could tell the creators really loved the comics.
Grant and Stephen looked like they had a lot of fun copying each other's mannerisms.
Grant looks great as Green Arrow, but Stephen looks like a parody of the Flash😂

Never thought I would see the day they do a live action Amazo. Was expecting more Justice Leaguers for this as it usually take the whole team to defeat that menace.

This Year's CW crossover is off too a DYNAMITE start. Just about every scene was great, no useless commentary.
Starts out "FreakyFriday-ChangeUp" funny >>>>Smallville entrance & Barry's "reverse revenge" backstabbing arrow. Not wasting a few minutes on developing a plan for AMAZO and just showing us first while explaining what was being done. Focusing the episode still on the Flash & Arrow with them being the majority of the defeat of AMAZO. Possible "foreshadowing" of Barry and Oliver's new found knowledge of their dark and light differences and how I think the rubbing off of that may be crucial in moving forward in their own series when they return next year back in their solo series. This episode did move very quickly but I 100% agree we needed these episodes and possibly more like them.
These guys are just about all pros in their secret lives (except for Oliver, not so secret anymore. They should be able to work and think fast using their abilities together like they did.
Still miss my Smallville Superman but Tyler Hoechlin did way better this episode and the CGI was really overdue and necessary (how much better it was)
I think were looking at the best crossover yet, BY FAR, and I hope it truly fulfills. I know the Movie Justice League doesn't have the time the DCEU shows have to develop characters but I think in the future they do have the possibility. This looked more real than every scene in justice league movie other than when Clark was revived and back on the old Kent farm.
Cant wait to see the new character development I mentioned before about Barry and Oliver rubbing off on each other. I think its needed to give them some perspective again. Oliver fresh out of prison needs some more light in his life and Barry needs to become somewhat more stealthier and somewhat "harder" while still being funny especially against Cicada.
And last note...Barry should be securing Ricardo Diaz while Oliver handles Cicada. I mean Ollie's no meta so he should capture him with maybe more ease relating to Cicada and his niece like his own son more than Barry and Nora who's still new in his life and not connected like Ollie and his son in a deeper way. Flash needs to ensure Ricardo stays behind bars...well since he could do anything like eat a few meals before Ricardo even moved an inch.
This episode got me thinking a lot...clearly haha. Hope some people agree. If I made any mistakes or you feel I'm wrong in some or all ways please be nice lol I'm just writing from what I saw and how much I can process and type.
I think by the Series Finale in whichever show goes first we'll get to see some real Justice...in a real Justice League crossover and whatever storyline(s) they choose to make for us comic show lovers.

No, they're acting like each other on purpose, they talk about it in the episode, the flash does his best when he's happy, and Green Arrow does his best when he's angry and serious, which is why they're acting like each other. They talk about it on the Kent Farm right before Cisco picks them all up
