To be really short, its like 15 plot twists is missing in every season, its good but im always like: Is that it ? Its already over ?
Even if after season 4 ahs lost of its magic in the story (and Jessica) the stories were always so good and fucked up in a good way, the genius were still there
But since season 9 its just look like a good show on netflix, not ahs

I hated her at first But she grew on me fast and is one of my top few favorite Actors on the Series and her characters are my top favorites

Exactly. Now it is a few original cast members and random cast like gaga (which she owned and had to ACT as her written script character).
Kim is “a reality star”. Her character was written FOR her. She’s just being herself. 0-talent to act. So far she’s boring and I would have liked to see one of the original cast mates. Kim is nothing more than walking on and talking like she normally does. Where’s the acting as a character? There is none, it was guarantee to cause PR for season. I wish she pushed more, that could be opportunities for her to laugh more, or be overly excited to see Emma come to office. Or facial changes…. She fell flat and I think this season is “meh’. Why not Kathy Bates? Or Francis conroy? A veteran in the franchise to play Kim’s role.
It's a shame Lily Rabe doesn't appear more because she is incredible and would be a worthy replacement of Sarah Paulson

I’ll reserve my opinion on the KK casting until I see what she is actually like in the show. I remember Gaga being a highly controversial choice for Hotel at the time and she proved everyone wrong by owning the role she was given.

Lady Gaga attended Juliard, one of the top theatrical and music schools in the world. You don't even get into Juliard if you can't prove you have at least some talent. She's got talent.
Kim Kardashian got famous for a porn tape, marrying Kanye West and copious amounts of unnecessary plastic surgery. I honestly don't think she's stupid but I'm not so sure shes got the talent for acting..... Let's hope she can at least act enough to be believable.💁🏻♀️
I caught some of it last night fixing to go watch it but what I did see of Kim Kardashian's parts I thought she did a pretty good job and I don't even like the Kardashians the show I don't watch the show. They cold have held back on saying the C word so much lol....I hate that word....

Nip/Tuck! that's a blast from the past. That show was white hot before Netflix and Hulu existed.

I find it quite insulting, as well as derogatory, in regards to those featured in the show. Those who are learned actors. Jessica Lang, Angela Bassett, and Kathy Bates. These women have won Academy Awards. Kim Kardashian became famous because of an adult tape that her mother sold. What legitimate actor would want to work with Kim Kardashian? She has absolutely no business working with these talented individuals.

I don't understand why everyone is talking so bad about Kim Kardashian being in the new season. I thought the same thing when I heard Lady Gaga was going to be in season 5. Then she did an amazing job. Man people cam just be so judgmental! That's just not right at all. I think people should keep there bad opinions to themselves at least till they see the new season.

I really miss the old cast members. Even when some sat out of certain seasons, the cast as a whole was so strong and talented. I’m really hoping this seasons can take the OG fans to the show we all know and fell in love with. Even though Jessica Lange, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Angela Basset, Sarah Paulson and many more have left, I am hoping that the other returning cast like Emma, Denis, Zachary, & Billie can revive this show. I’m really hoping this one will be good and not another let down

Honestly, I think for any actor, continually acting in a horror show, especially if they are good at it can eventually mess them up in the head. I agree with Evan choosing to leave AHS alone after playing very dark roles for a very dark genre, horror. Also, of course Evan is good at playing a villain even though he is not a villian in real life. He is an amazing actor.
Then why did he straight away get a role playing a serial killer Jeffery Dahmer… literally makes 0 sense

When the character Queenie was doing a spell to bring about Papa Legba they were using the true voodoo spell to bring him up she said she felt something touch her and she refused to use the real spell again they had to change it.

I'm bummed a good chunk of the actors shown won't reappear on AHS but their reasons are understandable. As for the Kim, I'm hoping this is similar to when Paris Hilton starred in House of Wax or Repo! The Genetic Opera.

i miss the original cast. i am always thrilled when a new season comes up to see who’s in it. i’ve watched the first part of season 12 and i must say that kim fits perfectly so far in this season. she plays her role well but i could easily see leslie grossman in that role too. i hope frances conroy will be in the second part or in the next season. she’s lovely!

I love the original cast from season 1. It’s not the same since but I still watch. I loved Lady Gaga. My first reaction to hearing Kim Kardashian in AHS was the same as when I saw Miley Cyrus on Black Mirror. It’s like the creators sold out or something changed and not for the better. But let’s hope Kim doesn’t let all the fans of the show down.

i honestly have hope, at first it seemed so silly to bring in a reality tv star but hey, lady gaga didn't have much prior acting experience and she NAILED it, she created such an iconic character and i hope we can see that come from kim too

I think it will be. They always do a pretty good job with each season. Even if some of the season are better then others I still think there all pretty good.

I might watch AHS 12 out of morbid curiosity. At least Lady Gaga brought her A game to Hotel. Kim K is famous for botox and butt shots. If the first episode doesn't thrill my socks off, or if KK doesn't meet with a gruesome death before half the season's over, I might have to count myself lucky that I at least got to enjoy some good seasons of the show before it tanked. All the best actors split.

The point is she does not deserve it. The actors in AHS are legitimate actors. I can't see Kim K act side by side with someone like Jessica Lang or Kathy Bates. It's a travesty and it's disheartening that Kim K should even be in a scene with such tremendous actors.

Okay can we be honest? I think being casted in this type of role takes a piece of your soul and energy every time. Most of the original AHS cast members aren’t coming back because it messes with their psyche 😢

I don't blame them. I do a little acting and tbh I don't know if acting in the Asylum season would be worth the money. I can't even watch that season again, and I *rarely* get scared watching horror.
I don’t know I’m not a huge fan of Kim, but I am kind of excited to see what she brings and then when she does a good acting job, then I’ll give her the credit that’s due, especially when they show like AHS when you really gotta know your stuff

My favorite seasons of ahs was seasons 3 and 4 . I didn't start watching until season 3 because of Angela Bassett . After season 4 i was done .
The show needs a backbone actor or actress who can bring a Jessica Lange type of magic back to the series.
I sure do miss Jessica and Angela..They are both so incredible and earth shakingly beautiful.
The sensation is what Murphy is looking when casting controversial actresses but neither Gaga nor Kardashian are really acting rather are written roles that fit their personality very well
If she really goes hard on the lessons and is truly willing to immerse into the role, she could potentially slay… but it’s just not likely. She’s been a horrible actor in the past & I think she’s too concerned with what people think to let her guard down enough to be silly and crazy. I just don’t think she’s capable.

I just finished the first 5 episodes and yes I was disappointed when I heard it was Kim K because I’m a big fan of Ryan Murphy’s work , one thing I love about him is discovering and showing us new talent from Glee to Pose-
And just like this video states from all actors , this isn’t an easy job to do , Kim is working on her self , from SNL to her empire , she doesn’t need money or fame , taking this role was a big risk for both , and honestly she killed it - I don’t follow her career but this role was perfect casting & it was a great controversial move for Ryan to show he is a great writer / director … I’m impressed .
I misss the old cast . Sad they don’t wanna do it anymore . We miss you Jessica Lange !

I haven’t even watched the last few seasons and that says a lot. The first five were so damn good and asylum was absolutely genius. I have rewatched those quite a few times and i haven’t watched since 1984. I think i tried to get into a few but didn’t get past first episode. Roanoke i hated and cult was just ok for me. Honestly i didn’t love apocalypse either. Maybe i was expecting too much idk. I was definitely going to watch season 12 but I feel like they are selling out by having Kim Kardashian… She has to be playing herself because if she is put in any other role it’s not going to be believable. Typecast is an understatement. I could never buy her acting in any role.

Ryan always knows what he's doing. Hes got a creatively thought provoking way of making his audience see faults within humanity, without half the fans even realizing it.

Everyone saying kims a demon etc etc. He's a smart man. he's going to manage to fit her into a role perfectly because he actually sees beyond trendy headlines, and has a way of making any person, a good character. If he could pull off 11 years of ups and downs, related to realistic life issues that we've been through.. I can bet ya this season will be related to whats going on, right now. lol. Which is probably why he felt kim being in it, would make it the best option.

I love all the originals. Lillie mae was awesome. Sara Paulson and Jeesica Lange fantastic. Season 3 was awesome, love Kathy bates. I understand the breaks but like all fantastic shows. The good always moves on and nobody "fills their shoes".
KK and Amber Heard. Might be the end of this great series, still nothing lasts forever.

I just binged first 4 eps of sez 12. I think its the best 'Horror' one so far. I usually find myself spamming the plus 20 button to skip cvringe, but ahs 12 has been... unmatched

well, today is august 2 and I don’t find the season 12😡
After finishing the season, I honestly feel like Kim was one of the better parts of Delicate. If you choose to go into it looking at her as just a random actress who was cast to play the role, rather than refusing to look at her as anyone other than Kim K. and you just give her a chance, she really isn't bad at all. She wasn't great, bit honestly, I didn't think this season as a whole was great anyway. (The book was definitely better.) So, that being said, I wouldn't mind seeing her in other projects in the future. I personally dont care for the Kardashians, and I think they're a big part of what is wrong with our society as a whole, but this isn't about who she is off screen. Its only about what she can do on screen, and had she not been there, I'm not sure that I would have been interested in returning to finish the 2nd half of the season.

I think both American Horror Story & Kim K. are grasping at straws at this point. Between the awful reviews the show has been receiving over the last bunch of seasons & Kim desperately wanting to ensure she stays relevant. I LOVED the 1st 4 seasons so much that I still watch every season really hoping to see some of that earlier greatness it had. I didn't hate every season since...but none have been as good. They all have things I liked but probably more I didn't. But those 1st 4 seasons were so good I will probably watch any season they put out. When I saw Kim K. was in this one, I was not hopeful. I watched the 1st episode & did't think she was bad. But she's basically playing herself. The role is definitely molded for her. I feel like she's got acting experience...if you've seen the show you know 95% of it is absolutely as fake as the plastic surgeries they've "never had".
I will remain hopeful even w/all the bad press both parties have been receiving & stay open minded about Kim as an actress. I this could be the biggest mistake ever or the most brilliant
