Are all Hermes Mini Kelly’s the same?

Did you know the leather of your mini Kelly can affect what you can fit inside it?
For a bag that already fits close to nothing, leather choices can affect how practical this tiny little cutie can be.
Epsom leather mini Kellys are usually the most “common” but also a bit on the stiff side. A leather like Chèvre will give you more pull which means it is easier to open and close the bag. You can also fit a tiny bit more since it is a softer leather.
All leathers have their pros and cons so it really depends on what you personally like because we all know that famous saying… A Mini Kelly Never Did No Wrong.

Thank you for this excellent review on the mini Kelly. For the stud version they may have put a special support for placing all the metal detail which can stiffen the leather. Thanks for showing all your Kellys!! That black studded one is the best! Can't help but feel there could be an exotic someday? A dark green snakeskin with that small pattern of scales shimmering against a black dress maybe? Or would you rather have something less delicate?
I'd love it if they made the mini Kelly bigger like the old mini Kelly so it can fit a phone, or gave the pochette a crossbody strap
