I thought I'd gotten rid of it. However, recently the lust has come back. I feel stuck in a cycle of forgiveness and then falling back into temptation. I just feel so lost even though I know God is right there.
Same, I had a like 4 month span where It was like the thought would come for a split second and I’d just say no, then it came back and I’ve been struggling for like a year since, on and off. rn I’ve been struggling but not given in for a few days and really trying to let God take control. Praying you can overcome it 🙏
TL:DR: 1: Don't do anything about it. You are bound to righteousness, not sin. You aren't forced to fall back into sin. Flee from immorality, and away from your desire. 2: When even a sinful thought comes into your mind, immediately turn to Jesus Christ and try to bring it to him. Make it obedient to him. 3: "I swear, if that cop comes over here..." 4: "Man, that is a beautiful sunset.
I struggled with addiction to lust/pornography/masterbation for years. I finally stopped quickly and easily by praying the Rosary. Its been an amazing grace from God. A miracle! I feel so much better in mind, body and soul. Praise Christ Jesus.

Thanks man,i really appreciate this video.Lust has always been aprt of since i can remember and the last couple of momths ive really started to involve Jesus in my life.I at first did not want to admit that I have a problem,but the closer I got to God i realised that this was barrier preventing me from getting even closer to him and his righteousness.Ive started replacing all the times ive fallen back to lust with prayer, and worship and fellowship at my church with other christians and meaningfull prayer and my mindset and spiritual life has increased astronomically and I started seeing how God has worked in my life even when I was a luke warm christian.And your video just gave me more tips on how to gelp with lust.I really appreciate your content man and may God bless you❤️✝️

Get rid of your triggers, it is better to “cut off” ANYTHING then not enter the kingdom of heaven Pray daily for God to give you the power to overcome any temptation When you are tempted GET UP and do something , pray , run , do SOMETHING control your thoughts say everyday “I am not a porn watcher luster whatever you’re struggling with” So thankful I’ve been set free by Jesus Christ This is something more men and women need to hear. It was a 2 year struggle with lust even growing up at church as a pastor's child. What changed me completely like totally have no desire for pornography and masturbation was having the faith that God would never leave me amidst my sins and He will never condemn me all the more He loves me just as I am. I would boldly proclaim to my self speaking by faith that I am the God's beloved and I am the righteousness of God in Christ in the very act of my sins until God changed me (Not me but through Christ in me). I totally gave up on trying hard to struggle with lust and surrendered it all to God with a "I can not Lord but you can" attitude and He did change me and did not disappoint. I now am happy that I forget all those struggles I had with lust and is so blessed to realize I've forgotten lust used to be a thing in my life and is something Christians today struggle. Glory to Jesus! He saved us from hell by grace through faith, He will also save us from the bondage of sin to holiness by His grace through faith also!

I think if youre a young man you really should read the book Wild at Heart by John Eldredge. The book is basically what masculinity should look like and what God made man to be. One sentence that opened my eyes to the lust problem was, "the more you feel less like a man, the more susceptible to porn you will be" Which made me realize thats where it stems from and we need to learn our identity in Christ as men
Lust isnt just sex; it’s ANY strong desire … you can lust after food to give you comfort, you can lust for drugs to give you a false sense of healing or relief.. in your next video I’d encourage you to know more before you teach … I got you though bro. 🙏🏽 You did great! 🎉❤

I understand you keep saying just to not fulfill the desire but how do you do that. I feel like I even do when I don’t want to I feel like I get tempted to do it just because I can when I am by myself anywhere and I don’t know how to stop myself from doing it
