I worked on these aircraft at NKP, Thailand in 68 and 69.

I flew the AD-4 variant and it was a dream to work with. The Navy/USMC air program really flourished when using this fine aircraft for multiple role assignments. They had the nickname of "Flying Dump Truck" and "Spad."

The Skyraider is out of service yet if the A-10 wasn't "available" for ground support, I'm pretty sure the Spad if put back into service would get the job done.
