I love the "artisanal" tag. That's pretty ballsy coming from a gas station vending machine. They should swing for the fences and add "gourmet" to the description.
Wow, what a cool vending machine!! Both of the pizzas looked good but would have to try to see which was my fav. Great review, Ken and hope you and the fam are well. 😃😎
Ken, those pizzas are pre-made elsewhere, (edit: unsure if the pizzas are fresh or frozen before or while in the machine) then the machine would use a convection oven to cook it. Hence the crispness and the char. Also another reason why you have the option of taking away a 'frozen or cold' pizza from the machine to cook at home, it’s pre-made!
@poida So you're insulting me for no reason at all just because you think you're correct about something? Nice person you are! Also its not a fucking pizza place but a vending machine asshole.
@poida If you even bothered to use Google to search the brand name of this machine and read on their website, the company pre-makes them 'fresh' then delivers them to the machine, says nothing about them being chilled or frozen in the machine itself, it just says ''refrigerated machine'. Ken could have bought a 'cold' one to take home to check just that. If they really are made fresh I really hope they are re-stocked daily and consistantly, all those ingredients would not last one day just chilled!
@PotBoyz actually the fact that it's a pizza vending machine selling food that's not sealed is the issue. A snack vending machine has everything sealed up so that those things I mentioned wouldn't get on the food or you would be able to tell if they did
I recall back in the day when I was a truck driver, the Flying J in Napanee, ON had the BEST cheeseburger pizza I've ever had. A big slice for 3.50 CAN$ at the time was a STEAL and their regular slice where AMAZING TOO!!! Try that out Ken someday!!!

Great idea but too pricy. It might work good for Truck stops and such but I do not see many people lining up to bring this home for dinner. Thanks for the entertaining video.

Dast cook ovens use force air to quickly bake items. Maybe the hot air flipped the pepperoni " like a sail or a tumble weed" over during the baking process. It also looked like the cheese was applied after the pepperoni, causing the "no cheese zone" on the pep pie. I noticed the toppings were more evenly distributed on the CB pie. Nothing for the forced air to catch and flip over
@@PimpSolja49 just had the pepperoni from the same machine. All this shit is fresh and it taste like an authentic wood fire pizza. Beats the crap out of domino's and little cesar's.
Had the Pepperoni & Vegetarian first time last night. Was better than i thought it would be...sauce is a little bit salty but could use a bit of sweetness herb tweaking. Crust was perfect. 3/5 stars for a vending food fix.
That crust looks horrible. It reminds me of the dough balls at Papa Johns that are past there expiration date and have sat out at room temp and darkened up and gets a hard shell exterior. Pretty disappointed in the cheese distribution with all the dry areas as well.
I can see a great comedy sketch with this. You press all the options, select the pizza and pay. Then give minutes later, someone on a moped turns up, takes the pizza off the back of the more, goes around the back of the vending machine, through a door and pushes the pizza through the slot. 😂
Chloe Parker Yes, even in Japan where these type of hot food vending machines originate from most food in them are precooked and frozen then reheated. If you have no issues with microwave meals then this isn’t bad. You could see when Ken was choosing a topping you had the option to take away a frozen pizza. Edit: I think that pizza machine actually uses a convection oven as that pizza had char and was crispy!
I asked someone how the pizza was when they ordered it from the same vending pizza machine brand and said it was "ok" meaning it was bad in overall terms. In which also means you have to choose which vending machines as these wisely as some are not what it used to be after time of orders. Some get old and out-put lower quality of the pies than you expect it to be the last time.
