you know, sometimes I fantasize about a life like this. While the thought of settling down/family sounds great, the simplicity of train/fight/repeat just sounds so appealing. Maybe it's just me but it feels like you can do away with all the political and social BS that clutters the world now. It's you and skill, like how things used to be...
It's all trade offs man, they are showing the highlights. A lot of bs comes with military service. You are right though, you enter another world and the normal things don't matter anymore
I’m a 32 year old husband and father. Been married for 9 years, my oldest is 3 and my second born is 5 weeks old. I do feel like I missed something I’m naturally passionate about in not joining the military. BUT….while you don’t get to eat, sleep and drink the training like you would if you were single….I’d argue the passion to be a protector and fighter has only increased with having a wife and two boys I’m here to lay down my life for if needed. Passion to train doesn’t change, it’s just redirected from country to wife and kids. You do you but don’t think that a wife and family means no training or doing what you are passionate about.
Instead you got the dudes complaining about how the first guy didn't clear a corner in the first room. Even though the second man in the stack smoked that dude the second the first guy was in that room. These hate comments are so unthought out
This is the most hectic video you guys have droped so far when it comes to cqb. This is nuts. The speed. The shots. Fucking bananas! Im ex australian infanrty and watching the way these move, shoot and communicate is next level. God be with you fellas! You do an outsanding job! Fucking huyaaaa
One of my biggest regrets in life is not joining in 05. I don't live on it or anything but man do I wonder what life would be like if I would have done more with myself. I turned 38 this year. I don't know. I want a different purpose.
I’m 16. In my country you can legally join the military when you finish school (i finish in 8 months). I’ve always wanted to be in the infantry since I was like 13. Do you think it’s worth it or something that should be kept a dream?
Low key tho, Forward Observations be the reason why I practice cqb in my home when family isnt around. Love the work guys, would be cool to just chat and have a good time.
I'm 19 and I haven't figured out if I want to spend my life in business and get rich, or if I need to become a savage. As of now the future doesn't look nice, but I can't tell if money is better than this.
Curious civilian here - these drills never include return fire and I've seen teams get jammed up trying to take cover. Is it presumed that operators will simply push forward into return fire or is this trained separately?
They don’t practice swat “cqb” these guys don’t stop if a mate gets dropped in the doorway or go running for cover they push through to the threat until it’s eliminated or else risk losing the entire objective, they aren’t going to have a swat style standoff with the guy in the room in what this type of cqb is training for
Ultimately, a lot of training like this ends up being the infantry equivalent of an airshow. It’s flashy, and it’s cool to watch, but real CQB often ends up being each side throwing grenades at each other until they die, or winning via volume of fire. These sorts of techniques developed largely from the Sandbox where civilians are a concern and the enemy is largely incompetent, if spirited, and largely seem to assume an incompetent, static and unresponsive enemy, and dynamic, perfect allies who never mess up. If you watch similar situations in Ukraine, on either side, you’ll note that CQB there is very different and involves much less of this high-speed, smooth stuff.
Awesome video guys! Also the music is always the correct choice..i save most of the songs you put Do you have any Spotify playlist? Greetings from Greece!
I’d love to see a civilian do room clearing and compare it to a “operator”. to see what he did right and wrong. To see his improvement and progression before and after the class.
The mohawk footage with the high shutter speed looks so gritty I love it
get Jon and Cody to film training next time!
