    Yey, thank you for answering my question on Instagram! ✨Dodie's new album is also (still) on my list.
    Don't worry about the sounds, it's interesting to hear how parks in Adelaide sound like, hehe.
    And it's not silly that you loved walking around in Japan the most... It's the best way to really explore and absorb everything, in my opinion. My trip to Seoul is going to be next month and I'm already sooo excited... Mostly for the walking around, haha.
    I really hope you can go back to Japan as soon as you feel ready for it. 💛
    And even tho it was "only" a Q&A you still created such a relaxing and beautiful video. Especially because of the shots at the beginning. 🌷🌻🌱
    Have a wonderful week and hopefully it's not too hot in Adelaide anymore! ☀️💛

      Thank you so much, Alina. Your comments always make me so happy 💛💛Oooh that will be so exciting! Please let me know how you go and what your favourite part is! I love South Korea. And if I could go back to Japan now I would hahah It's just about me and my partner navigating our jobs and taking time off at an appropriate time.
      I hope you have an absolutely beautiful week! And yes, thank god, the weather had cooled a little haha 💛😊

    Haha I knew you'd say you were INFJ! I only watched one video which was about the magic in the mundane and it resonated so deeply with my own feelings and as an INFJ myself I feel like my INFJ detection abilities are heightened after I have done a lot of reading into the type. I learned so much about myself and I highly recommend reading into the type! :) Take it easy! x

    Ahh thank you Christy for answering my question! I've been enjoying your videos for a long time now and I'm absolutely in love with everything you've put out. I was curious about your personality and to my pleasant surprise, we both have the same MBTI trait!

    1)What's your Hogwarts house? 😅
    2)People (UA-camrs, authors, etc. ) who inspire you, creatively??
    3)Favourite poetry books?
    P.S. I love your videos and their overall aesthetic so much! 💖And the cinematography is just 👌👌

    Thank you for answering my question. My second film was castle in the sky which I loved as well. I had a friend who was Japanese and she introduced me to all Japanese things and started my passion and love for it. I am still dreaming of going to Japan. One day I will go and I keep joking to my family that once I am there I am shredding my passport so I can stay forever! Enjoy watching your videos and I loved hearing the birds and ducks having a chat in the background

    I recommend reading _The Bedside Book of Birds_ since you like birds like I do! It has short stories, accounts, poems, and novel excerpts on birds. There is a considerable amount of text in each section, but I read the entire book in a few days at a moderate pace! I gave it a 5/5. The illustrations in the book are nice too!

      @christy-anne-jones  5 років тому

      For a long time I wanted to move to LA or NYC! If an opportunity came up, I'd still consider it (just like I'd consider anywhere else). But Japan still has my heart so if I committed to any country other than Aus, it would probably be there. Thank you, darling. I'm happy you liked the video 💛

    Alright, throwing out what I think your personality type is before I get to you announcing it. You seem like an ISFP to me. Introverted feeling and extroverted sensing. I generally type as an INFP myself, I am a pretty huge fan of Haruki Murakami, finishing up Killing Commendatore today, I hope :)

    • @IndieAuthorX
      @IndieAuthorX 5 років тому +1

      Okay, I now I got to the part where you type yourself. INFJ seems like something you would get on 16personalities. The test is based the Big5 personality test, which is very well respected. I however do not think it does a good job lining up with Carl Jung's personality theory or the MBTI. INFJ's are bad at extroverted sensing, which you seem to be really good at. Also, INFJ's I know tend to complain that they never know how they feel about things, because they are extroverted feelers, not introverted feelers. You have mentioned how you feel about things a lot, you seem like you have a really good handle on what you like and don't like. I just totally get an ISFP vibe from you. Major creative ISFP example would be Wes Anderson. An INFJ creative would be JK Rowling. INFJs tend to like astrology and the mystical, they lead with introverted intuition. Just the fact that you prefer actual astronomy makes me think you use extroverted thinking, like an ISFP!
      I do not like any of the major tests, but if I had to recommend any of them, Erik Thor's personality test (he is an INFJ) and the typology central Jung Personality Test are the least awful. The 16personality test typed me as an INTP for the longest time, and it took me a while to get off that train.

    • @christy-anne-jones
      @christy-anne-jones  5 років тому

      Thank you 💛💛 where do I prefer out of Tokyo or Adelaide? Both. In an ideal world I'd love to bounce between the two of them. I can definitely say one or the other. And the most important thing we with studying Japanese is to be consistent and put in a lot of work. I certainly need to buckle down and improve my Japanese 😭

  • @dweldredge
    @dweldredge 5 років тому

    You nearly broke my heart when you said Astrology, but you saved yourself when you corrected it to Astronomy. ;)
    Re: writing, I understand the urge to get a publishing deal, but aside from the prestige, they really aren't as good as you think! The last thing you should do is take the advice of a random person on the internet, but even so, I beseech you to explore other options such as self-publishing so you don't get locked into a horrible contract. Best of luck!

    • @christy-anne-jones
      @christy-anne-jones  5 років тому

      'ology' means 'the study of' so I always get them mixed up -__- No shade to Astrology though hahah Just if I wanted to study space I'd want to actually study space
      I've heard that a lot! And maybe I didn't chose my words the best. "I'd sell my soul to have a novel out in the world and being read by people" is probably more accurate. I'm not sure what path I'd go down just yet, but there's certainly merit to both traditional and self publishing. Thank you so much 😊😊

    • @dweldredge
      @dweldredge 5 років тому

      @@christy-anne-jones I have more than enough shade to give to astrology so you don't have to. Regarding getting a novel out into the world and being read by people, no soul-selling is necessary. I'll just say that if you can do your own youtube videos, you can publish your own novel. :) And now I'll stop harping about it. Keep writing, keep drawing, and good luck!
