Let me know what you think of Salesforce's continued attempt to get rid of the need for code! Also, as always, any new suggestions for what you'd like to see are always welcome. Enjoy! Adam x
Will you make another video regarding this? the feature is now on all objects. however, i am struggling to get it to work on the page layout of opportunity products.
Just in case you consider share this info in the channel/video description: Dynamics Forms will be available for following Standard Objects according to this roadmap: Winter ’23 - Account, Contact, Opportunity Spring ’23 - Lead Summer ’23 Case
To right! My clients are always asking if the fields can be shown only when they need to....but without using APEX, etc. Not sure why they are taking their time with it? Clearly some technical thing, or just wanted to get this standard one out the door first. Thanks for the comments :)
Thanks for the video, would you be able to post a video on how to control the accordion defaults? The default is closed and when I open an additional field, it collapses the original. It would be nice to have them default to open. Keep up the great work!
Hi - great question. TBH I've not looked at that. My guess (without looking right now) would be that you can either set that in the build of the page (in the Lightning edit side panel), open it out in the Lightning Page edit screen (so that it could save like that) or finally, try opening it out and then reloading page to see if it 'sticks'. One of those should make it open. Let me know how you get on :)
Hi, thanks for the video. How do you go about making fields withing the hidden sections required? It can't be required in the standard way since it may be hidden so it would have to only become required after the condition to make it visible is first selected. But how is this done?
This was really cool Adam! Can you suggest me on the following, I have a custom object for single entry data filed,Is there any way that I can convert the same to multiple entry fields without any coding?
Hi there, Thanks for the question. I'm not sure I understand your use case though. If you have an object with only one field, you can't create multiple data entires for one field. What is the use case? What is the functional need (i.e. are you trying to create a lead entry form to capture Name, Address, Number, etc?)
Basically, to have multiple fields for the user to enter data into, you need to have those fields created in the object and then displayed on the layout.

Hi there, have you tried clicking on the settings icon on the video and raising the video resolution to 1080p? That should help see things clearer even on full screen. Let me know if that works or if you still find issues. Many thanks
