My main issue with Goff is that the ceiling is somewhat limited. There's the lack of rushing, as someone pointed out. Goff finished outside the top 12 in QB scoring last year even though he was 2nd in the league in pass attempts. The Lions have plowed a lot of resources into their weak secondary. What if the Detroit defense is much better and Goff doesn't have to throw as much because the Lions are involved in fewer shootouts?
Last year the Ravens had one of the toughest schedules. The played the Dolphins, Texans, Browns, Steelers, 49ers, Rams, Jaguars and Lions who all made the playoffs

Don’t say put ARich over Stroud in anything until Richardson proves he can stay healthy. He had injury concerns in college too but because he’s such a specimen people ignored it. Not to mention Stroud has arguably the most weapons in the league.

Most of the pushing came from the guards and guys in the back. Kelce will be missed for sure (but that’s for the offense as a whole) not a play that last year had a 96% success rate and 92% the year before. Like people really push narratives because of fear. Outside that I do agree. But mostly cause now the eagles have a RB who can do it all. So hurts won’t need to rely on that play nearly as much inside the 5. Tho they will still run it. Brotherly shove.

I don't trust Cook as a workhorse and the weapons are young but it's all on Allen this year. I think its a MVP year for him potentially. “Don’t want any part of Allen or Hurts this year” wtf Fitz, rationale for Hurts makes no sense. In a “down” year Hurts still finished QB2 and he has Kellen Moore now with both Smith and Brown extended. Also, Richardson over Stroud is outrageous.
With Allen, I worry about the lack of proven WR talent, plus it's unlikely he gets close to 15 rushing touchdowns again after never hitting double digits in TD runs in any other season. With Allen, there was a notable drop-off in his passing numbers in his first year without Shane Steichen as a mentor. I also worry that so much of his productivity came from short TD runs. What if that dries up? Not only because Jason Kelce is retiring and maybe the tush push doesn't work as well, but what if there aren't so many instances of Eagles RBs and WRs getting tackled at the 1 (which seemed to happen at an abnormally high rate last year). And just to be clear, I'm not saying they're going to be terrible. Just that the opportunity cost is too high to pass on good RBs and WRs for a QB who'll likely see a dip in value.
