Tamura Makiko's clarinet sings. This quiet gently paced melody is a showcase for her skills, different from the usual traditional jazz material. I like Kato Shinichi but someone needs to send him out for coffee when this piece comes up in the rotation. His background noodling here is more distracting and discordant than complementary.
Fantastic inspired performance by Makiko as always. I agree with you, the only problem with this recording is Shinichi Kato's contribution which is negative. All the other musicians are fine. Without Kato it had been much better.
We can only appreciate this emblem that this band has produced by acknowledging that the mixing of their instruments is equal to the beautiful aTAMARA and so the production is ultimately grand.
@@ragtimecave My apologies to the artist. She is one of my favorites. Her session she did with Shotgun Jazz Band in NOLA (2017?) was magical, virtuoso.
This is the way it is supposed to be done!!!! Coming to you from just outside New Orleans…
Tamura is a genuine artist. When she plays, both music and feeling issue forth from her clarinet. Gives me chills to hear and see her perform!
Me too
I love.
A genius at work. A privilege to listen to!
Talent and grace when playing these old lovely hymns.
Fantastic worship song!!!!!!😀🙏🏼❤️✝️
This song never never gets old….think about it❤
Beautiful preformance of this song
Again Excellent Tamura and also all band thank you all
When I come to this vedio again, I feel like floating on the melody instead of water.
Peaceful and relaxing. Love this group.
That's what we call "wonderful jazz".
Really excellent and played beatifully especially the clarinetist. Thanks for sharing.

Kato would sound better if he had chapped lips and couldn't play.
Great music.
Sooo smooth luv it❤

Wonderful!

Frank Correnti Her name is Tamura!!! Not Tamara.
@@ragtimecave I am humiliated by the error and I never wished indecent rubbish reference to Tamura, a premier artist. This is my apology.

Un orchestre de jazz ça doit être joyeux, j'ai l'impression qu'ils sont à l'usine ce qui n'enlève rien à leur talent
Very good 😊
She’s really good 👍😊
Jaaa...que mee cuentan de esta belleza....!!!
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Yes, Peut être, il devrait être encore plus présent ...
Get rid of the trumpet player and you'd have a good band. She plays with great skill and feeling
Un cantique magnifiquement joué
A bit slow but otherwise lively

Too slow. There's another recording of this by the same group, more up-tempo.
Sound is terrible.👎
