  • Step into the Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum in Washington, DC, for an incredible journey through aviation and space exploration! 🛩️🚀
    We kick off the adventure in the drone exhibit, exploring cutting-edge aerial technology. From there, we visit the Orbis Flying Eye Hospital mockup, a key feature in the Humanitarian Exhibit, showcasing aviation's role in global medical outreach.
    Back in the main hall, America by Air offers a cockpit view of Amelia Earhart’s iconic Lockheed Vega 5B, a plane that broke records and boundaries. Walking past the Exploring the Planets exhibit, we arrive at the Northrop T-38A Talon, an advanced trainer jet. Discover its fascinating history before a short film honors trailblazers like Jacqueline Cochran, who shattered speed and gender barriers in aviation.
    Next, dive into the Speed Exhibit, where innovation and adrenaline collide! Highlights include:
    The groundbreaking NASA X-43A.
    A model of the towering Saturn V rocket.
    The iconic Concorde and a high-speed Chevy Corvette.
    The Sonic Wind No. 1 rocket sled, which reached 632 mph in just 5 seconds!
    Racing engines, the Mark 4 reentry vehicle, and the legendary SR-71 Blackbird engines, complemented by the flight suit of the elite crews who flew this spy plane.
    Relive Evel Knievel’s daring jumps with his motorcycle display, then marvel at sci-fi favorites like the Starship Enterprise, Millennium Falcon, and a TIE Fighter, displayed next to a historical German V-2 rocket.
    The finale features the roar of racing:
    Mario Andretti’s STP Hawk No. 2, winner of the Indy 500.
    Displays of racing planes, boats, and Richard Petty’s iconic Pontiac #43, celebrating speed across all terrains.
