- Lamb of God was probably the best act I saw at Soundwave this year, and I was so happy when they got this wall of death going for their last song. I think this was probably one of the best angles to see it from too. Enjoy!

They say metalheads are terrible people, a neuissance to society, rude, devil worshippers, but once you go to a metal concert and join a moshpit/wall of death, it's a shared experience. As soon as you fall, these rude, rude, rude people that are just so terrible all reach out to pick you back up

Dude my first metal concert was last year, it was a festival, been a metal head ever since and let me say this from first hand experience, I joined up in mosh pits and death walls as well, when I did the mosh pit I actually fell and got the wind knocked out of me, as soon as that happened 4 guys immediately took me out of the mosh pit, pretty awesome people, I SHALL STAY A METAL HEAD TILL THE DAY I DIE lol
I was at a mosh pit where people formed a wall to protect an older lady that fell down. These insane metalheads are one of the most considerate people I ever seen

i was at a Dying Fetus concert a few months ago and people made a ring around this little girl and her dad to protect her from the moshing, it was an awesome experience :)
There are always the kids who don't know what's going on and start moshing before the Wall of Death begins...

You cannot explain to someone that’s never been the pit of how it feels. Its one of the biggest adrenaline rushes you will ever feel! And most of these people are cool as shit. When i tell someone that the same dudes elbowing each other in the face are the same dudes picking each other up they look at me side ways. I get goose bumps thinking about it some of the best times in my life
Right ? I've been to numerous gigs over the years and sometimes get knocked on my arse but the 2nd I go down there's like 3 people's hands reaching down to help me back up. Fantastic people, it's just pit etiquette. We all just want to have fun, I've seen a few dicks not follow this unspoken rule of the out but for the most part, they pick you up when they realise you've fallen.
Wow, at the very end you see a guy fall and 2 or 3 people reach out to him and pick him up, really gives me a new perspective on these people.

Yeah I saw that. That's what I like about nosh pits too because although people go there to push and shove (not seriously injure), they will always stop what they're doing to pick you or someone else up.

The wall of death has been illegal for some time now due to people actually getting killed. Mosh pits in general should be allowed it is assholes who just go in to punch the shit out of people when in reality Moshing is just to have fun push each other around not actually seriously injure or kill someone. If you watch mosh pit videos a lot of times people get knocked to the ground but are helped back up. Don't ruin something for many who are not assholes when it comes to it.

@Atmospheric I never said it was not dangerous. MOST People (not all) who mosh know what they are getting into. Like I said earlier it is the assholes who go into to injure someone make it more dangerous. Accidents happen as in you might knock someone down or nail them in the face but it is not intentional. Yea you most likely will come out with bruises and such and possible broken bones but there is no contract for these concerts saying you have to mosh. It is up to the person to know when it is going to far. There many things in this world that are much more dangerous and people still do those things. Moshing is supposed to fun not a lets see who I can hurt game. If it is done right there won't be issues or serious injuries

Everyone was moshing and having a good time until Fuckface McJackass comes in and decides he's going to start throwing his elbows in people's faces. I didn't see him coming and he got me right in the mouth. Knocked out one of my teeth and broke my nose. Then, he pushed someone onto the ground, and when people tried to pick him up, Fuckface starts kicking the guy in the head. Some grown ass Irishman with a beard the size of Florida's state debt picked Fuckface McJackass up off the ground and then slammed him spine-first onto the left rail. Fuckface went limp as Donald Trump's forelock and he had to be carried off by event staff, twitching and salivating like someone that's just been poisoned.

You fall, they'll pick you up. And if you get bumped and bruised, that's the normal take away momento. I say go for it!! Not just at lamb of god but any others. Go girl!

A good wall of death is like a tsunami, all of a sudden the tide goes way out and nobody knows why, than the wave comes and all hell fuckin breaks loose with a few innocent people getting caught in the wake.

First pit trophy was my front tooth at Cannibal Corpse '97. Lucky enough to find it later inside my Doc Martins. Wear it as a necklace now. Nobody fucks with me. Never had it replaced. Love moshin, hate the arm flaylers. They get bulldozed first.

That is because so many do not understand the etiquette of most pitting, and the rule not to flail your arms and legs around like a mad man. Bumping, pushing, shoving, and things of that nature only a little more aggressively are the best mosh pits.
