I know we talk about Pokémon that go from unusable to viable with a couple of move changes, but can we take a moment to appreciate when moves like Brick Break also get the love and buffs they very much needed?
I've been running Hakamo-o as a lead since day one and I have a 74% winrate (74 wins 26 losses). I've always been pairing it up with Lanturn since it manages to cover Skarmory, Azu and can go neck on neck with Gligar. For the third i've been experimenting with different stuff like Vigoroth, Jellicent and Toxapex but I think Vigoroth is the best cuz it helps a lot with Lickitung, although Annihilape is a problem with it.
Any team with a grass type is doing well at the moment. I went 19-6 today with venusaur, gfisk and air slash skarmory (people think everyone is running steel wing so they make silly swaps)
I’m not the highest elo but have ran Shadow dragonair on the lead, with shadow A Sandslash as a safe swap, and Lanturn in the back and it’s honestly been pretty good. I think I’m 35-15 with the team in 2 days worth of battling

It works for hak but still isn't that great of a move. I would rather have a move help more then 1 mon

Brick Break does the same thing as Psychic Fangs in the main series, so really this move update was just bringing it up to speed

I run Wiscash with blizzard lol. Way more people respect it than you would expect, but it’s worth it for the occasional one-shots.
How does your switch to new mons go so fast ? Mine takes like 3 to 5 seconds its ridiculous i click like min of 3 times before it switches

Is Brick Break a better move on Vigoroth now, with the damage buff and the debuff chance?
Body slam will likely still be preferred, due to pacing and getting same type attack bonus! As far as open gl goes
Yeah and you still want Rock Slide as a secondary move since the coverage is too valuable compared to Brick Break's.
If I dont have a hakamo-o or a goodra what would be a good third?
Dragonair/shadow is a good alternative.
