Amalie Arena to undergo $25M in upgrades

The season is over. Let the season begin. Amalie Arena has moved from hockey right into construction. In an arena that is already considered one of the nicest in the league, starting yesterday, the day after the Lightning sadly bowed out of the Stanley Cup Final, work started on $25 million in renovations.

I traveled from Bermuda to Tampa to see Def Leopard and Journey perform for a packed Amalie area.
17500 happy people.
My only beef is directed at the Arena .
I paid $250 but could not see the stage and there were no large screens around as I had expected.
The large center screen worked before the concert but not during.
The back drop to the stage is important so that was disappointing.
