If the listener is like me, she's reeling from shock and confusion. Why did the prince ask her father to deal with the wolf? Did she know the prince before her accident that made her forget, or did the prince just decide that he wanted her to be his bride?

Warning: this is long and I'm sorry. Didn't mean for it to be.
I'm just curious as to WHY he wanted our hand in marriage to begin with.
What happened? Did he see us and think "mine"? Did we do something kind for him without even knowing who he is? Just, what the hell happened?
Also, I am WAY more stubborn than that. The more he fights me on it, the more I'm gonna fight back.
I'll guilt him by saying that if he truly wanted my adoration like he says he'd actually let me have a choice and accept no for an answer. Maybe leaving the option on the table and trying to change my mind by letting me get to know him better (as well as NOT pushing me).
I'll tell him how that shop was the only thing I have left of my father and I WILL NOT leave it and by extension leave him (even if his ghost of a memory) and my brother.
If that didn't work, I'd make friends with and guilt some staff into helping me leave the castle. I probably would still have to leave the shop though but at least it'd be my choice, and maybe I could bring my brother with me. And with how unliked princey is, it probably wouldn't be hard to get people to help the poor shop keep being held against her will who just wants to go home.
Hopefully by the time the pampered palace brat realizes, I will be long gone. Hell, maybe I could woo a neighboring prince (though it'd probably still be accidental cause I don't know how to do that) just to spite him. And I wonder what my new lover would think (and maybe do) upon hearing how little my homes royalty thinks and treats the commoners. I'm sure it could be interesting.
Out of spite alone, I will pull out all the stops I can to not give him what he wants. I will literally die before it happens.
