- I read 31 books in April so here is another Lightning Round wrap up so I don't have to talk a lot about all these books. The results are questionable.

I read 14 books last month, but I did have a one-week romantic trip and a 10-day organic garden planting temp job so I think I did good :D 🦂🦂🦂

@@theanswerisbooks The minuscule mansion of Myra Malone (this looks really, really good to me), The god of endings, Contact (already have it but never gave it a change) and The familiar (I'm very curious about this one because it's set in Spain).

LMAO I’m a fan of the chaos but I also want to hear more. Super excited that A Taste of Gold and Iron is good, I’ve been more and more drawn to it recently and I’m looking forward to reading it. 🦂🦂
Well I'll probably be doing another lightning round in May bc I'm on track to read [checks] WAY too many books. But in June I'm planning on doing weekly wrap-ups, so you should get lots of detail!

One of the ones that wasn't working was like this cute tinkling, I hope he would have been okay with that, too!
@@theanswerisbooks tinkling is probably good. He's a rescue, so who knows if there is a tragic backstory, but he's more afraid of iPhone dings than fireworks. It definitely impacts video watching habits. Phaser fire is fine but nothing contemporary on Apple TV.

I still might read Voyage of the Damned, but it's a lower priority now. SO MANY in my TBR right now.

They could have added like five minutes of explanation that was in the book and made it so much better! Maybe they thought the audience wouldn't like it.
Best book I read this month was The Warm Hands of Ghosts, as you know. But I set aside The Familiar from the library to read it. So now you’re saying I need to re-pick up The Familiar next week again.
Hmm, maybe! I liked Warm Hands a lot more. Like, it's a six star book for me. But The Familiar is great. If you have liked LB's adult stuff in the past you will like this!

The fruits basket show is as boring as the books. Also dead silence by s.a barnes was really good and I agree ghost station was very disappointing, I dnfed it
