Love my raspberry pi with my MS3 in my 1986 Capri! You can get a mini keyboard with mouse pad for it and it works great! I go over my logs and tune right through the pi while I'm at the track, no need at all for a laptop!
It definitely has a Raspberry Pi in it...would check the documentation, as depending on what version of Pi..it may have bluetooth, which if the software allows, you can just pair it with BT keyboard/mouse...if not, get a Logitech kryboard/mouse combo that uses the Unifying dongle...then keyboard/mouse will just connect when they are on.
You are correct, it's basically just a raspberry with 7"touch monitor, can be made for roughly $100,- all in. If you are going to market something like this for such a price, at least make it a custom PCB so that it's not this obvious.
@@AcidStyle79 You pay for the Software and the continous development of that software, not for the Hardware. Though, for 650 bucks i would at least expect an aluminium bezel for the Display and not a 3D printed one
@@InfinityDIY but the software for raspberrie car dashes are already legion in the repositories. I agree that for this price an aluminium bezel and a custom pcb (flatter so easier install) would be the least to expect.
Terrific video!!! You just helped me make up my mind on my Camaro!! I am going to stick with traditional gauges because that’s what works for this build. Also I am old and I have to have gauges to look at to see what my car is doing. Thank you for your videos!!!!!!
Thanks for the video. I hadn't checked into that dash. Been messing around with real dash and an android tablet. Wish i'd had seen this before i wasted my time on that!
I've been eyeing these up for a while. The only thing that is kind of off putting to me is that there isn't a fuel level display for most applications. It'd bug me to have to also buy a standalone fuel level gauge when you have such a nice digital dash.
Does that dash allow you to display Warmup enrichment, after start enrichment, boost duty etc.. from the Megasquirt? I know that other brands do not just the basic features
PiDash is designed just for this. RPM doesnt typically show very well on most digital dashes. The response rate of RPM isnt all that great. Its best to have an analog one.
This screen is perfect for my little car. It's a great video and thanks for the video intro
One of these capable of controlling some relays would be amazing, no physical switches for stuff. Could make a super clean interior!
Haltech nexus does that
Holley dash does that also
Many will appreciate time u spend on research 👍👍👍

Whats the name of your raspberry pi powered display
@@lordoftherims436 it's just the raspberry pi 7" touch screen from amazon

HUH ?? 🤔🤔
I Actually Prefer Cherry Pi 🤗🤗🤗🤗

Does look a lot like a Raspberry PI. With Tuner studios your limitations is your imagination. You can make it look how ever you want.
What’s a safe way to power this Powertune unit at home so I can start playing with the settings before my car arrives?
Love it just not big enough. They need a 12 inch unit or bigger.
Nice video I am looking at either this or the BTI display both very nice units.

If your ecu reads fuel the dash will display
BTW, congratulations on the ms3 pro. You are a smart man Sir.
2005 and newer Chrysler products comes with CAN Tj wrangler was pci till end of production
Thanks brother, can it work with a 2002-2005 hyundai sonata ?
This is a cool looking dash 👍👍🇨🇱
Dixxon flannels are amazing
Do you know if this will work with a holley terminator x max ecu?
Very cool. Do I see a new flannel coming soon 💪🏻
We have been having a hard time with flannels....may wait till Fall
No love for the Holley ECUs....sad day
I have a 47 chevy with a msd ignition. Will this work for me?
Did you plug into the obd?
One solution is normal tablet w/Real dash app. Costs 5€. Works with most ecu's. Can be customized.
What will it do a Holley can't do, interested to know. Thanks
Nothing. Its less capable. Its also a lot less $$$
@@thephranc I like options, you will to as the project progresses
Its compatible with just about any ecu....including factory ones. Not sure the Holley setup can do that. Nothing against the Holley stuff...

not 100% sure but it is very customizable
Kyle have you not seen the offerings from haltech or AIM?
Yeah,
Everything is super pricey and are usually only compatible with the ecu's they are made for
Does anyone know if I could use these. For a PC game simulator? Can anyone give me any tips please.
Pretty cool, if you are more digitally smart you could just take a fairly decent sized screen and program/modify your own digital dash

How much cost this equipment?
Kyle look up the AIM PDM32/dash combo. That’s what I have in my racecar and it’s miles above what your video is about.
Dude that shit is 2000 dollars. The point of this guy is staying within a normal mans price range!!!
That is not a HUD.
Dang not compatible with Holley. Bummer.
hi good afternoon diesel car how to make s10 year 97
Does it work with Motec 84 ECU ?!
Yep, google power tune digital. There's a list of ecu you can select from and motec is on there
It’s a raspberry pi glued to a tft screen.... they’re asking $510 for that. Lol ok
"It's just Math, jus math",,,,,,,, THAT'S My Problem 😶😶😶😶😥😥😥,,,LOL, God Bless All.
