Thanks for the informative video. I have a query. Can we get a physical DL when we havent received the PR card ? or will we get physical DL(after clearing the road test) only after we get the PR card?
If you don’t get PR and have already cleared road test, then they will give you a yellow paper in lieu of DL. The physical DL will be processed only after you receive your PR card. You can drive with the yellow paper but it cannot be used as government issued ID card for other purposes.
I've been out of Canada for 20 years. I'm a Canadian citizen (born in Canada). Should I follow the same steps with the exceptions of a PR? Thank you in advance
As student, you would have to get both BCID and BC service card (which will have your Personal Healthcare Number). You would need to carry valid study permit and passport on the day of your appointment at ICBC.
I have a BC ID, but I could not find the way that I can apply for BC service card :( Could you please assist me in this regard? the page you've shared is not accessible anymore.

Thank you for watching the video. You should enrol online for MSP at the earliest possible, because the wait time after you enrol is 3 months.
