Thank you - I use Ernie Ball strings, it is tough to avoid all finger noise, but i do try to be aware of minimizing squeaks when playing. I’m trying to bring out the most focused & pure tone. I asked Tommy Emmanuel the same question and that’s what he told me: be aware and try to minimize the squeaks.
I like the fact that you don't throw away notes and Timing to just become a good shredder to impress the majority of people
