Once the "node zeros" the harvester will actually continue collecting up to the level of Plasma Storage. Once you relocate your starbase (and restart your client) you can collect the extra amount accumulated from the harvester. The harvesting rate and the harvester storage is a 1:6 ratio at every level, so in practice this works out to 6 hours of accumulation available past a "zero node". This is from testing.

i actually foudn this out this morning, and that makes sense. the steel/trit/dil generators work the same way. even if they're generating and then you claim an event reward, and you come back days later, and drop back below generation levels, your generators WILL be full.
We notice upgrading the processor reset (or maybe added the difference) the plasma node we were on.
I’ve moved my Starbase to a new node and then would have to relocate again because it wasn’t harvesting, and yes they were both Collisional plasma nodes.
No point my server is so laggy on event updates everyone is giving up

The display needs lots of work. I'm not a commodore, so I have no idea what's going on with this starbase. I hear people talking about power or other things, but I have no idea what's going on. There's a starbase, its got some nodes on it, but why does it look the way it does now and didnt before? What are the future expansions? Essentially, you've given us the equivalent of the base, but this time, there's not even a bunch of spaces where something might go in the future, its just a graphic. Maybe it will make sense in Arc 4... but now, if you're not a commodore, who knows what's going on other than doing my daily pulls to "help out" my alliance... with something, I'm not really sure what. And we're on what, week 2?
As a commador I can say, just upgrades and mining currently. You're not missing anything and we're as confused as you are.
Alliance reserves are used to relocate (was 10k when I did ours last.)
Subspace Superconductors and plasma are used to upgrade.
Speedups are gonna help for events.
DJz, could the glitch be because the starbase is taking your officer's/commander's research to display an "extra" in terms of harvesting, but in actual fact it shouldnt be doing so, which is why there's the bug?
Scopely's display timers are bugged? Who knew!
Does everyone have to click plasma to harvest or just one person clicking it adds to everyones vault?
How do you get magnetic plasma harvesters? We only have collisional.

if yiurs finish every 6h, why move it every 24?
The harvesters fill up every 6 hours. But the node itself will run dry every 24 hours.
Ok, so, plasma harvester say 14k at level 3, i have 3 of them, (1 is upgrading to 4 so not working atm). waited 1 hour (was like 55 min) and each of the 2 only pulled 6 k. shouldnt they have pulled close to 14k each?
turns out another commodore touched my harvesters, no issue happening....

If your alliance is on a zero node can players from another alliance attack your station for being on a zero node?

Let's talk about how scopely pushes low levels around and excludes them from events and things like this alliance star base. Most people stopped mining or stay right on top of there mining ships. So the only alternative to the espionage event "antics" is to go the a special system and hit a mining supply ships. very few of these ships spawn in that system, but the closest you can move your base to that system is 4 minutes away. I am lvl 24, and my NS can hold 7k max, so i move my base, put the ore mining officer on my ship which kicks it up to 8,775 max cargo. and i have to do 24 runs back and forth,
to get to the first level of the mission, which is the staggering 200,000 points. so that is my goal the one fu cking level in this garbage mission. I put the officers with the ore miner that speed your warp to and back when cargo is full. then I hit a 50% boost warp that last 3 hours still work for 1/2 hour to attempt to get to 200k points that is if no one else cares about doing this piece of shit mission. scopely is a bag of assholes...thats the bottom line.
What happens if you go 6.5 hrs

with all the complaints from admirals and commanders having to baby sit the base station I'm so glade i don't have to waist time understanding all this HAHAHA
Scopley, stop penalizing players for switching or getting booted from an alliance.
I suspect it's an attempt to prevent alliance hopping, and maybe they are hoping that might shake up territory or something, since you can't just go visit another alliance for the the territory service you need without losing out on alliance rep.

it will provide great benefits in the research tree. this research tree has some really great stuff in it, probably one of the better trees since the territory tree
