Thank you very much. I genuinely appreciate it. If you have topics you'd like me to speak on just let me know. I have topics for the next 16 videos. I tend to make suggested topics a priority.
I'm getting married on Friday so this was perfect timing! :) My partner and I are both disabled. It's hard but we are committed to making it work. We are lucky that we'll get to spend lots of time together in our first year or two of marriage. I recently (like 3 weeks ago) started using a manual wheelchair due to pain so any tips for newbies would be great. I know no one really cares, but I feel self conscious. It was my fiancee who actually encouraged me to get one! I'm in Ontario too - lived in London, Toronto, Brantford, and Ottawa.
Thank you very much. There is a lot of content I've prepared. I suggest you look at the play lists and filter through which videos are for you :) ua-cam.com/users/ronpiggottplaylists
I've discovered that I'm pretty good at sewing and have started posting the items I've made on a Facebook page I've started and selling them. I feel like I'm contributing to my family and its helping my self esteem and sense of purpose. Awhile back you encouraged me in the comments on another video... thank you!
I pray God brings you a godly woman. You would be an excellent godly parent... God brings us what we need...I met my godly husband at the age of almost 37.... been married for nearly 6 years. Always make Jesus you foundation. Just two cents from me.
Of course I don't mind talking about it. When I was 2 years old I had 'Legg Perthes disease'. The ball in my left hip joint died. It became a blob. My set of challenges in the present are because of the lack of knowledge and understanding in an effective treatment from that time period. I talked about it some in this video. ua-cam.com/video/kX30JnUOJTo/v-deo.html I made this to inspire people.
I am sorry this happened to you Amy. I am hoping you've had time and space to grieve the loss of the hip joint and are now able to acknowledge the 'silver linings' which come with a situation like this. There is still lots to be thankful for in life and indeed a life to be lived and enjoyed.
I've been a para since 1997 with many other conditions. I totally get you and I think it's great that you do these videos!
