Aawww....I only recently found you these past months! At least there is a long list of vidz that I can watch.😊 I really have been meaning to! I have been spending a lot less time on FB, for sure! These past couple of years, YT has become my crutch! Vintage entertainment, endless music, news, a little drama (not so much, anymore) and my Fun Channels!😊 Tryyying to focus on more Fun stuff now, that it feels like we finally CAN! There are still precarious issues we face, but, I see a glimpse of Hope, with better leaders. (We just need More of them!) It's still a Circus, with too many famously big Jerks but... it is what it is... "They" say, that Americans make up a good portion of YT users. Not, so much with FB & Twitter.. Americans have relied on YT during the hard times of this crazy pandemic. And this pandemic has sent us all on a path of discovery, in one way or another. The loss was so great that hobbies and interests seemed pointless, at times, to me. I cooked and baked like a fool, though! I knew 6 who died, including my cousin. If I was gonna end up on that road, then I wanted to at least taste my Favorites, and find new ones, before I never would again!! Then, last Summer I finally got C19. Not cool! I recovered, after an ETD/ Blockage was treated... But, still, even after regaining my sense of taste, some things don't taste right... sometimes. Weird. I'm back to doing some of the old things, again, and the "New" but, my perspective has changed. Like many who have recovered have said, or demonstrated, post-C kinda sucks the energy and inspiration, out of the day. Some people end their every day, with a terrible migraine! I was lucky to have only temporarily lost some of my hearing, over having daily migraines! As a lifelong migraine sufferer, even I don't think I could have managed it!! Everyone is kinda in a funk. Tired, spacey, discombobulated... Some people seem down right mean and crabby and mad! Many are way too young to be such curmudgeons! I just keep telling myself, that even though the World is ablaze with greed, corruption, loss, natural disasters and pointless War... it is okay to find a slice of joy, peace, contentment... in each day, that passes. Get outdoors, play good music, soul search, try "The new"... I can no longer spread myself thin helping everyone else, anymore, but, I do my best to be kind and take advantage when the opportunity arises to help make these tough times, easier for others. That, I can do. I can't let the grumpies get me down. You do what you gotta do! We should all enjoy what sparks our senses, in the best ways! Social media can't be smelled, tasted or touched! But it can bring good people, together. Some YT creators make their channel a Job, some share their creativity, some do both, some just "hangout"... Those who Depend on the income are likely working on a Strict routine schedule so, viewers know When to catch a posted video. They can corral their viewer$ for a bigger bang! But, most viewers, I think, aren't demanding a routine daily or weekly Upload. If it's there, it's there! We have all been worried about our favorite people not being well so, to find out that someone is taking a break, on a vacation or simply busy... is good to hear! (even though it is really none of anyone else's business.. I know.) If you still want to touch base, on YT, maybe do a short now and then. Share a Tea Flavor, a tid bit, an update or a simple hello. If you do a video, make it a ~5 minute one. Short, like this one. Once a month videos are just fine, too, if that suits you. It is your Tea Time channel so, as long as you have a cuppa on hand, seems you can talk about anything or do whatever else you want to do! Or not at all! I'm totally with you about the whole "Less social media" thing, though. I get it. We should all do better! Leave the trolls to troll themselves! 🤭 I can never get over how Fast time Flies when using the internet or playing video games! Insane! Poof! Time Gone! Time is precious so, you do as you wish with yours. Thank you for sharing your time with us. It is goodness that is appreciated. I, also, cannot get over how social media directly connects celebrities and fans. A far cry from the days when we had to send fan mail to an address, found at the back of a Teen Beat magazine! If ya didn't see your favorites in mags or on a talk show interview, ya had to Go to the Movies! So long as Celebs stayed out of the news, we knew very little of their personal life. Then, last Summer I finally got C19. Not cool! I recovered, after an ETD/ Blockage was treated... But, still, even after regaining my sense of taste, some things don't taste right... sometimes.
Weird.
I'm back to doing some of the old things, again, and the "New" but, my perspective has changed. Like many who have recovered have said, or demonstrated, post-C kinda sucks the energy and inspiration, out of the day. Some people end their every day, with a terrible migraine! I was lucky to have only temporarily lost some of my hearing, over having daily migraines! As a lifelong migraine sufferer, even I don't think I could have managed it!!
Everyone is kinda in a funk. Tired, spacey, discombobulated... Some people seem down right mean and crabby and mad! Many are way too young to be such curmudgeons!
I just keep telling myself, that even though the World is ablaze with greed, corruption, loss, natural disasters and pointless War... it is okay to find a slice of joy, peace, contentment... in each day, that passes. Get outdoors, play good music, soul search, try "The new"... I can no longer spread myself thin helping everyone else, anymore, but, I do my best to be kind and take advantage when the opportunity arises to help make these tough times, easier for others. That, I can do. I can't let the grumpies get me down.
You do what you gotta do! We should all enjoy what sparks our senses, in the best ways! Social media can't be smelled, tasted or touched! But it can bring good people, together. Some YT creators make their channel a Job, some share their creativity, some do both, some just "hangout"... Those who Depend on the income are likely working on a Strict routine schedule so, viewers know When to catch a posted video. They can corral their viewer$ for a bigger bang! But, most viewers, I think, aren't demanding a routine daily or weekly Upload. If it's there, it's there!
We have all been worried about our favorite people not being well so, to find out that someone is taking a break, on a vacation or simply busy... is good to hear! (even though it is really none of anyone else's business.. I know.) If you still want to touch base, on YT, maybe do a short now and then. Share a Tea Flavor, a tid bit, an update or a simple hello. If you do a video, make it a ~5 minute one. Short, like this one. Once a month videos are just fine, too, if that suits you. It is your Tea Time channel so, as long as you have a cuppa on hand, seems you can talk about anything or do whatever else you want to do! Or not at all!
I'm totally with you about the whole "Less social media" thing, though. I get it. We should all do better! Leave the trolls to troll themselves! 🤭 I can never get over how Fast time Flies when using the internet or playing video games! Insane!

I, also, cannot get over how social media directly connects celebrities and fans. A far cry from the days when we had to send fan mail to an address, found at the back of a Teen Beat magazine! If ya didn't see your favorites in mags or on a talk show interview, ya had to Go to the Movies! So long as Celebs stayed out of the news, we knew very little of their personal life. Thank you for being ever so brave, and sharing. You are so sweet, funny, a joy and an inspiration!🌸
